The focus is on the MA to resume studies, dependants can arrive anytime

- Biometrics done August 19th (Standard)
- Received by DMC August 21st
- No NSF, No interview, One paid mail and several follow ups later, finally got confirmation from a rep on 8th of September that a decision has been made.
- Got BRP mail on Sunday September 10th around 7:36am yesterday (Decision was made on Sept 7th)
- Application transferred to VAC 11th of September
- Application received by VAC 11th of September
- Collection mail and sms dropped around 4pm today , 11th of September
- Waiting to get my port from DHL by say tomorrow 💃💃💃

So so happy because I resume on the 18th. Everyone waiting for a response will get one soon in Jesus name 🥹🫶🏾

Hello @duchess90, this is kind of unrelated to visa applications but I don't know how or if I can apply for school space my 5 year old for this term. School has resumed already and ission applications are for September 2024.

Pls help, filling a dependent visa and when trying to pay for IHS, it brings up a section: You're ing or remaining with this person in the UK. which is asking for "Please enter a valid visa expiration date".
but the MA is yet to get a visa. how do I resolve this, thanks.

I booked flight ticket way earlier and was getting scared that I might not be able to meet up. Planned on doing a paid call on the 13th but application moved to VAC by 12th. The wait can drive one crazy, you start making up non-existent things that you must have done wrong.

You have to be in UK to do this ooo. Not all schools would be good for your child so you have to go around, pick one if they have space and then fill necessary forms. Except you're putting her in a private school.

I called today and they told me to wait for 7 days.

Just have patience!! They will always say within 7 days. Mine has been moved to VAC though. I did a paid email yesterday and it was confirmed that decision has been made.

Hi guys, please where are you guys booking affordable and non-transit visa flights (from Lagos to Heathrow/Gatwick) abeg?

It took 2 days from when I got confirmation (8th sept) from a rep that a decision has been made for them to send my decision letter (10th sept) and then 3 days for the tracker to move (11th sept) and then I got my port in hand on (12th sept).

Mine might have taken that long because of the saturday/sunday weekend in between, your timeframe should be shorter. AND CONGRATULATIONS 💃
