Hello all, please I have a question related to port submission. I have read a lot of concerns about delays on port submission/return. Can anyone say which of the VACs is fastest to use and can return port between 1-3 weeks? I hear it takes 6-10 weeks for Lagos/Abuja VAC.
Jenykech:
Congratulations!!! Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading.
I hope Canada favors you.
Few questions; did you book your flight before you got your copr, I mean after PPR? Or you waited till your port was stamped?
Also, how long did it take for VFS to return your port after submitting?

Odegaard: 9:31pm On Aug 31, 2023 |
Congrats.
Please how long did you wait after getting the vfs notification that your port has arrived before picking it up.
I recently saw on this thread to wait 2 or 3 days. Not sure why though

Hello everyone please can I have the link to track.
I’m using the link I have and once I try to input the UCI it says the No is incorrect and this is the number I have on the system and I have received AOR
Don’t know if I’m using a wrong link
I’m facing the same issue. I would really appreciate a response on this.

You cannot use the UCI that begins with "CAN000" to on the application tracker.
You'd have to wait till your Medicals are ed (MEP) and you're issued a Biometric instruction letter (BIL). Thats when your real UCI is updated. You will get a notification for these.
Until then, have patience.

Hello
My friend fell out with his agent, and asked her to withdraw his EE profile. Unfortunately, he doesn't even have any details of the application. How does he go ahead with a new profile without the old number?
I wanted to advise him to create a new profile and delete it. So he can create another new one referencing the one he deleted. I am not sure if this is the best advice and decided to seek help from you all instead.
Thank you

If I correctly, biometrics were taken at the Nigerian embassy. The embassy staff will give you a package to be sent to Nigeria. The police report will then be produced and certified by the foreign ministry.
This legalised police certificate then gets sent back to the country you are and the Nigerian embassy will legalise the police certificate.
These guys are lowest scums of the earth. It costs so much to legalise the document.
Disclaimer: I used mine for citizenship application. That is the reason why they needed it legalised.
I think for Canada application, you do not need legalisation by the embassy.

I applied last month using the possap portal, I did the biometrics manually, using ink on the printed paper documents and scanning it back. I got the PCC 10 days after, All for 30k!!!

Yes, visa was issued at Accra. Your counterfoil update was earlier than mine, so i think you can expect to receive port pickup notification any moment now. Have you been getting updates from vfs?
Hopefully, no there's been no further update from VFS

Is the agent a licensed immigration consultant ? If not your friend may be at his mercy as all entries made pre and post ITa are logged to GCMS and if their is any discrepancy in information the applicant may risk being accused on misrepresentation.

Good Afternoon Everyone!
Please assuming someone takes a loan of 1million naira from their salary for a business, It is going to affect them when he/she start their application, especially with the "arranged" POF ?

So like I said, in my case I was pursuing 2 things at the same time. The Canadian PR and citizenship with a European country.
For the Canadian PR, I do not think I had to legalise the report at the Nigerian embassy. I did do this for the citizenship application.
So it is not too bad.

I submitted via courier to Lagos VAC and got it back in exactly 4 weeks (whole dispatch process to Accra, Counterfoil and back inclusive) which seems fair. Hear Nairobi is fastest but I didn’t explore that

Says it's still under process at the Canada Visa Office. People who got counterfoil notifications after me have received their ports from the same VAC. Went to VFS lagos and they said it's still at the embassy? The matter don dey tire me

Hello people,
I received nomination from Alberta some months back and I have done medicals and biometrics. My AOR is May 26th 2023. Since then, I have not gotten PPR. I requested for my GCMS notes only to get it and see that it was my reference letter that had an issue, it was not dated by my employer and it was stated in it that I was working till date with that employer, meanwhile I am in the UK pursuing a Masters. I checked and saw that the date of studying are not computed with the work days so I immediately got my employer to draft another one while making all the corrections noted in the notes. I am still waiting for PPR. My POF has been cleared in it, criminality ed but from the file, my case was attended to last on the 6th July, 2023. Pls who do I ? I am really worried. The reference letter is the only one under review and my file has since then not been touched.

thanks for your response. i believe she's licensed. There's no discrepancy in what she put in initially, he just wants to do this by himself. i noticed you can link an application but it requires the cancellation of the representative - he may end up doing that.

Did you have to apply for an Airport Transit Visa?
