Hello all,

I don't know if this is the right platform but I have a question regarding types of visas.
I've rounded up my studies in the UK but I co-own a business with a Nigerian-British which was incorporated in April 2023.

Besides the post-study visa, am I not eligible for another kind of visa?

Did biometric on 10th July (all)
MA got visa on the 18th
The rest were held on DMC
First paid call was on 2nd August
Escalated on 3rd August
Spouse interview was set up on 14th August
After the interview, all the remaining 4 applications were moved to VAC on 22Aug
Collection Mail same day and got the visas today 23rd August.

Documents submitted:
MA all post grad certificates
Marriage certificate
NIN
Birth certificate
port data page
Acc statement same for all
Form 1,2and3 I can't unless I read through it again. Some are for my kids.
No Marriage photos and newspaper change of name ed (Note I had them but didn't see any field to them, therefore, I felt it was not needed)

For partner:
ed same thing and failed to wedding photos and newspaper change of name.

Note: because I failed to proof with more evidence like photos and newspaper change of name, it was difficult to ascertain if my marriage was genuine until the interview I and my wife gave them our Facebook names to check by themselves starting from our dating days to proposal and pre-wedding & wedding day.
My own advice is please be real and genuine and also provide all the information that can help ECO decide your application without further delays.

For my kids:

Either 1 and 2 of the 3 forms above or the other way round. I can't now.

Please was your application successful? First Bank did not respond to the email from UKVI in my case. It appears that they have a problem. I ed them and they are telling me they have escalated to the proper unit and I should expect a call back in 48hrs. Time is far gone. Does anyone have a quick fix for this? I did my biometrics on the 18th of July.

I am on the same stage since September 2022 last year when they suddenly told me my weac was not accepted due to its been taken more than 5years and I sent a letter from my school which they said its not approved because my schooling was above 5years. So I withdraw the offer and I have been demanding my 2500 for a year now. All They keep saying is I will have an email via covera for a year now.

I can't wait to get my visa so I will visit them one on one.
Roehampton is fraud because on their Facebook page there're a lot of candidates having same issues for years and they have bad reviews online.

Please I need help as I am in total confusion at the moment.
My wife received a conditional offer in March from university of Roehampton, she did her pre-CAS interview, ed her documents and we paid the deposit and she was sent an unconditional offer.
So we started the CAS shield where we submitted all the documents requested there including TB and POF.
The progress bar was at 61% when the international issions team sent another revised conditional letter asking she provides proof of English proficiency, we duly submitted LOR and MOI from her University here in Nigeria (which was what they requested before giving her the unconditional offer) she had 5 in reading in her IELTS and over 6.0 but the school insisted that she needs to provide English test results that meets their requirements.

She did the online test but our Nigerian network messed her up during the writing and it affected her score.

We sent the test result to the school and explained what happened, we tried to rebook the test but the organizers said she can only take it once in 12 months.

But the school insisted that she must provide an English test result.

We got tired of the back and forth and sent a mail to the school on Saturday telling them since we can't meet the English language requirement, she'll like to withdraw her application and request a refund. She's paid £7k deposit already and till today, there's no response to the email and normally, they do reply to their email with 24hrs.

We don't know what's going on.

It’s still early sha but I’m so anxious. 🫠

I understand why you are asking this question, knowing that people waiting for a visa decision largely tend to be agitated. However, the fact that two applicants do biometrics on the same day does not automatically mean that they will both experience the same timelines from DMC to VAC. All the best!

If you need a shirt stay from 20- 30 £ per night around Newcastle , it’s a short train to sunderland me on here, I will get a mail. Pay when you get in. You can stay up to a month or more if you want. I wish all awaiting a successful application

I did on 19th dependant and just this morning it moved to VAC. No other mail yet

Landed in London yesterday with my wife, we just picked up our BRP card from the post office not quite long... Thanks to duchess90 & everyone that has been ive in the past few months... God bless you all

Where are you staying? (if you’re not using school address, pls make sure the address you're telling the officer isn't far from school because the officer asked for Post code to check for distance)

Where's your ission Letter?

He also asked for BSC Certificate

He asked for how much we've paid towards tuition, my wife responded & also gave him her CAS.

My wife was asked who is funding her, she responded with "My husband".
The officer asked me about what i do, i told him..

How are you going to pay the balance of your tuition? I told the officer that we have funds with us, he asked for proof, we gave him our updated bank statement that we printed a day before we travelled...

Please how do I fill the part of the visa application form for a 1 year old child dependent where it is asking about the number of years lived at the home address? I see that if I put 1 year or months, it asks for the old address which is not applicable to the child because the child has never lived elsewhere.

Visa fee is $482. IHS fees that i paid for my 2 years course was around $1558. Might be different for you. But that’s an idea of the budget to work with

Yes you must not have t .
I used my personal for myself, wife and kids.

You will need to write a consent letter authorising ukvi to that you willingly submit your balance to yourself and your dependents.

My IHS was summarized 1557.27USD

Received by VAC & Collection Mail - 23rd August

When I saw the Collection mail for the three of us at once I was even close to the TLS but I was scared because I didn’t see any Empty NSF Mail and I did standard and Self I didn’t pay for Priority it was so fast to be out, so I had to go and Pray, came back the next day for collection of the three port and God did it for us. BRB Mail dropped this morning. I want to thank God and the gurus, for all those waiting God shall do yours
