Hello House, Good evening please how does walk-in work? I want to book an appointment at tls ikeja now but the earliest date I'm seeing is on Thursday with flexi can I choose Thursday and Walk-in on Monday kindly assist plz?

My brother applied for a study visa and has since gone since February. So he decided to bring in his wife and kid after settling down. They were both the dependent when he applied.
So due to port issue, the wife did her application first and then got her visa since 3rd of July, but had to wait because of their son.
So when his son’s port was ready, he had to pay for a date for his appointment at TLs Abuja and he successfully did his biometric on the 26th of July.
Till today, they haven’t gotten any email. Now they’re really worried because he doesn’t want to leave his son behind. Also, he thinks him already there and his wife having a valid visa should help with their son’s processing/application but nothing yet. Please what can be done or they shouldn’t have to worry about anything as both of them have a valid visa?

We need to stop. You paid for standard. Your child did his biometrics July 26th which today makes 7 working days. You have at least 8 more working days to go before doing all this. Your application is not the only one waiting on the queue. Allow the application run its timeline.

Oh ok thanks. Just asked because the wife paid for standard too and then got her visa in 5days. So that’s the reason why everyone’s worried. But then, thanks for your input.

No serious update o, though I remain optimistic. Did paid enquiry and it was escalated. This is the response i got;

"We can confirm these applications are currently with a caseworker for reconsideration.

You will receive a decision shortly, though due to the increased volume of reconsiderations we are currently receiving, we cannot give a timescale for this.

We are sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience."

School on the other hand hasn't responded to my mails for them to follow up with UKVI, I intend to send them another mail today. Do you have further suggestions for me?. Thank you very much for your concern ma'am.

Hello house, please I applied for a visitor’s visa to the UK April last year. I got the following email that I attached and also an sms notification of port collection.
BUT when I’ll get my port back in June, all the pages were empty. No stamp. Nothing. I also didn’t get any refusal email explaining anything. The only email I got is this attached one and the sms collection notification.
I didn’t bother pursuing it because the trip wasn’t so or die for me. Now my question is, does this scenario count as a denied visa? Because they returned my port to me untouched (some two weeks after they sent this attached mail) and no other email asides this was sent to me.

I did with my wife on monday, self , standard & 8am appointment time.. It was not crowded at all, and we did our biometrics under 30mins.
