Well i am just assuming because same thing happened to my neighbour. Her battery was changed. Another's CAT was stolen and many other news we have heard.

Any mechanic that won't allow me access to workshop must fix any issue noticed on my car

This is already giving me serious concern. All components still intact, Fans work on thermostat, car has never overheated and factory compressor still working. what can be the cause of this water level drop? car is Camry 2012.

you have a leak

cooling system to be thoroughly checked

if you have water in your radiator it will be harder to detect

There are several reasons coolant is used instead of water. It is easy to trace and smell leaks if any.

I'm suspecting your fan doesn't come up at all untill AC is put on.

I got a Nigerian Used Hyundai Tucson 08 and changed the engine oil with Toyota Quartz 5000 on the 16/6/23.

I travelled just around Ibadan (Daily use), Abeokuta and Ilesha on a single to and fro trip.

Currently the oil is very black and is calling for replacement. Kindly advise

Black soot from exhaust can mean ya car is running rich.
Scan ya car for error codes.

For me fuel Consumption is still fair for my 4cyl engine even with A/C on, from Ibadan to Ilorin and back (just about 1 full tank (about 65ltr) ).
