Today, (3am) i was just thinking of the goodness of God in my life and how privileged i am to get this opportunity.

I was without a job for 2 years, i didn’t meet the complete requirements for this job, i didn’t know french, i was not already in Canada, but God showed me mercy. Unemployment is such a depressing state to be.

I thank God from the bottom of my heart for showing me mercy, and giving me a miracle that is so unbelievable ( clearly, even on this thread, i now see how blessed i am)

I just want to encourage everyone, seeing this is my last post here. Trust God and keep believing. For those waiting for PPR, may yours come speedily.

So my dad received a message that his port was ready for collection but didn't know that VFS Global had stopped sending back port through DHL. All attempts to get across to VFS by phone on how to make another payment has been unsuccessful.

How can we make payment for them to send it back to us and what courier service will they be using?

Also, is it possible for someone to go pick it up at VFS office if they are closer? What will be the procedure and what documents will they need to present, paradventure it can be scanned to them.

Good day, I am new on this thread and have just created an IRCC , I have a plan/target/believe of getting this Visitor Visa In the next Six(6) months and I will be needing lots of help and guidelines from everyone who can make out time to share, I will appreciate a lot. Having said that, I have virtually the whole documents required on ground and need to know if I should start-off immediately to apply, because I noticed a question of "Tell us more about what you'll do in Canada. Include dates. (required)" and this "When will you enter Canada? (required)" I practically didn't know how to approach it because there might be a particular format to it. So please, any guide towards the right direction will be appreciated.

No direct flight and transit visa is not required if you're flying from Abuja airport, My cousin left yesterday, currently at Frankfurt Airport for layover. Even though he booked through Air Canada and it's a Luftansa flight. So check well.

If he wants to pickup in person. All he need is photocopy of this international port n his tracking number written on it. Time is 12-2pm but he should go early to get slot, queue for pickup is always long n tiring.

Pay 18,710 to Canada Logistics Collection (0065165839) Stealing Bank. forward the proof of payment to [email protected]

I will attach the link to courier service form, instead of waiting for vfs to send it. , fill and attach it together with the proof of payment.

They use UPS for der delivery.

Just write the purpose of your visit in 1-2 sentences. In my case I wrote “I want to visit my wife who’s an int’l student at **** college from [date] to that [date].

I believe you should know when you plan to enter Canada nah, put the date der.

You will have to do 1-way DHL and pay for VFS Logistics to return your port to you.

But, I will prefer DHL for both sending and returning.

That’s wrong information. You can do a new biometric if you like.

You will be asked if you have done biometrics in the past.

Do we already have your fingerprints and photo (biometrics), and are they still valid? Click yes.

First of all, I don’t think IRCC border agents will ask sure a question because they themselves can use your port and visa information to to your portal to see the transcripts.

The use of agent is allowed. If you applied through an agent then tell them you don’t have the information to your portal.

Good morning boss, are you saying the current amount I have to pay to VFS to return my port via UPS would be #30,000naira as against 18,000naira?

I sent an Email to IRCC through the webform to ask if I could submit my port for visa stamping in the Usa because my PPR came out less than 2 weeks before our travel date. I told them I will be in the USA for summer vacation. Below is the response from Lagos immigration office. I'm not resident in the US, I'm only visiting. Is this response a yes or no. Thanks in advance

I had similar issue too. I sent mine through DHL to Abuja, and it was delivered on 6 June. I didnt get any notification from vfs. I sent several emails to them and no response, until I chatted with them yesterday on their Web live chat. I was told that the reason I didn't get notification from them was because I didn't write my email address and phone number on my document sent to them.
I was given my tracking I.D. my port had been ready for collection since 13 June sef.

You should use there Web live chat.

POE is not that serious, you’ll only be asked purpose of visit, accommodation plan n in some cases proof of funds. If you’re aware of what you filled for you’ve application you’ve no issue.

With you iuc n application number, you should be able to link your portal to a new .

Yes you can submit your port for stamping at any vfs close to you. Just confirm the requirements for submission.

You can only mention agent if it’s a licensed one. Most agent don’t fill the “use of representative”, so claiming she used agent can be seen as misinterpretation. Thou I know it won’t get to that.

Try that first, but if it doesn’t work then you can apply for new biometric. (That will cost you CAD$80).
