True talk o.

Nigerians needs palliative now than ever.

Gave a bag of rice to be shared among 8 widows. Report got back to me that more than 30 people collected, both widow and non-widows.

That means each didn't even collect more than 2 derica. May God help us o.
please I also have in mind to do the same as you did but I don't know how to get in touch with widows, please is there anyway one can get widows in any geographical area or do they have organization?, How did you got with them?. I'll be very glad if you share me some clues or ways I can get with them. Thanks in anticipation.

If you are living abroad and have some families here in Nigeria, pls don't hesitate to reach out to your brothers, sisters, uncles and aunties here in Nigeria.

The situation on ground is so bad that u see people groaning and talking to themselves, well kitted men and women turned cunny beggars just to meet up with daily activities.

Most families that I know have dump their cars especially here in Abuja. When u move around the city,u will see the situation on ground.

The subsidy removal has affected everything including the way of life of many people here in Nigeria. In my office today, many guys now come to office few times in a week just to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal.

Now that the electricity tariff is about to go up...I wonder how people would cope going forward.

And for those who feel everything is normal, just wait it will soon go round,no one would be spared.

Wen u de campaign for Tinubu why u de complain enjoy ur Tinubu govt na

It's really painful. I paid 12,500 for a 25 litres keg of fuel this evening and it was too painful to bear. It's hard. If those with stable jobs and businesses are not finding it funny how then will those without jobs live? Robbery will rise for sure.

I can arrange at least 20 real life widows for you. You can use any suitable means to confirm their identity. These women are going through a lot. Just a proposal.

In fairness, a guy earning 30 k is not likely to own a car or a generator.
Yes, but the government has failed to provide stable electricity and good transport system/network so how will this person survive? Without a generator at least, let's forget car

Sure!. Dem dey go through “things” too but it can never ever be like the things wey Naija people dey go through. Don’t even compare!.

It is the hasty generalization I pointed out. And take it from me as someone who is privileged to constantly see from both sides, there are many Nigerians out there who would be better off at home back in Naija. And of course there are many Nigerians folks who only need the exposure abroad to thrive.

Lol... there's one RCCG church I know of in Surulere back then that use to share breakfast before every service. Recently, I ran into their keyboardist and after exchanging greetings, I asked him if they're still giving breakfast, he told me for where, that the church is even struggling financially.

It's not easy anywhere. Our problem is that tribalism and religion wouldn't let us come out openly to condemn our leaders. We'll keep pointing fingers at each other while they keep looting us dry. It's well.

Then why do you choose to live in one country when you conclude that most indigenous peoples are tribal? Then how does One Nigeria make sense?

Na Naija man, so he knows the country well. Also, he is a naturalized Austrian, so he can always run back if shit hit the fan. grin

Money is not his problem. You know, there are folks that have defeated the worries of money. He is just concerned about the racism and disenfranchisement his kids suffered.

He doesn't want to raise kids in a country where it won't feel like home, and they always see black folks doing mostly menial jobs.

Those of us that live abroad do not plug money from the tree. Here, you work for every penny earned.

The global economic meltdown is worrisome...na God go help us all.

I pay 1500 United States dollars a month for my apartment(utility bills inclusive), feeding is cheap here, cloth on the high side, any other bills too.

Though I help out folks and family who call once in a while to seek my assistance.

My advise is that everyone should just hold on and keep pushing, eh go better!

It will never be better as long as One Nigeria remains. Tell unaselves d truth.

Exactly, inflation is a global thing, people are now suffering everywhere the only difference is that outside the country there is infrastructure, Nigeria is actually rich in disguise, just that people cannot see it.

If you want to help yourselves as Nigerians, you have to work together, and be humble, Nigerians are mostly wicked and lack self control cool.

If Nigerians can learn to humble themselves and respect themselves and have the spirit of togetherness and honesty, seriously there is nothing they cannot move, they dont know their richness is in humility.

I have tried to impact this spirit in my families, but not seriously, the values of trust, of sharing your problems and helping each other be it words of wisdom or insight and having natural concern and not trying to be lord of anyone, and if it concerns money, one person should not be the only one contributing, i cannot say further. Only decent people help themselves but the wicked will grow more wicked.. Working together takes people farther than been a lone wolf.

Those that live abroad are actually not spared from the economic onslaught. Apart from battling inflation in their host country, many still send money back home to their families. If not for their , things will be worse than ever.

Yorubas are gradually turning to Almajiris, shameful beggars, just wait and see whom would suffer in nigeria the most, wether na Hausa, yoruba or the Igbos time will tell When you hear born fighters, fight to finish, tenacity and perceverance and generational wealth transfers, give it to the igbos. They do not need nigeria government and anybody except God to succeed in life......

I wonder when people like you will keep hatred and bigotry aside and reason like humans. You need to start seeing humans as made in the image and likeness of God irrespective of religion, ethnicity and status.

i totally get it. Tell him to expand his mind beyond Nigeria. Think Ghana, Rwanda, Namibia etc . Seeing as money is not his problem he just needs a decent environment of black people.
