There is really no manual for this US Visa thing. I have read someone here whose sponsor is in the US and still got the visa.

While you waiting for Lagos, also try and be checking Abuja dates too so that you will get something if they release. The message is very annoying seriously.

The first time I applied wasn't up to 30 minutes before I received approval email.
This second appointment application is going to 2 days now. This is not fair at all because if dates are released now, I won't be able to schedule

Yes, there is no manual.. but saying that your relative who makes $120k is going to pay $20k/yr is going to be hard for VO..( who is likely not making that type of money) to accept . If she/he is single, their net income is around 85-95k/yr.. it’s going to be really hard to save $20k for him and another $20k for your studies.. If VO doesn't believe your story.. no amount of $$ and paperwork can save your azsz.
