I got itted as a Freshman into a U.S University and was offered a scholarship. I'm currently a student here in Nigeria and would like to know if it's' advisable to ask the U.S University if I can send my current transcript here to them so that I can be considered as a transfer student instead of a freshman or I should just resume as a Freshman.

well, it’s not compulsory but you must be able to convince the VO why that person who is not related to you by blood wants to spend that much on your education.

What does the person stand to gain.

How many months/years validity does the port need to have before you can use it to apply for F1 visa?

Oh God I need your favor at this point of my life. I have 5 Msc issions already but waiting for assistantship from my various departments.

I can't imagine being in Nigeria for another 1 year just because of unable to get assistantship. God knows depression will set in if I can't make anything out of the 5 schools that itted me, after all the effort.

I will wait for my schools to decide but if they didn't give I will still find way and move.

Note: From my experience, she didn’t ask for any documents or any proof, she seemed to be paying more tension to what I was saying and what I filled in my ds160. I noticed that whenever I said something corresponding to what I filled in my ds 160 she’d nod her head and with all these questions my interview still didn’t last up to 1min highest I’d say 45secs.

Western Union Payment doesn’t take days to reflect. Maximum of 2hours, your status will be updated to paid. Confirm from your friend on how he/she paid.
