Many people responded that whoever commits suicide is going to hell. However, I did a little research on it by asking Google. I was surprised to see in the articles written by foreign religious leaders that suicide doesn't take anyone to hell and they ed their views with a lot of verses from the Bible.

As a Nigerian, do you think suicide take anyone to hell?

Suicide is a sin,taking your own life is a sin against God Job 1:21 says " God is the giver of Life He gives and He takes away."

Suicide is equated to murder,and the only destination for suicide is Hell.

1. Only those who are born-again have access to the Kingdom of God where Heaven and Hell are both located. So, if a person who is not born of water and born of spirit commits suicide, he/she cannot enter into either Heaven or Hell at the end - John 3 vs 1 - 21 & Matthew 3 vs 7 - 11 & Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14 & Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46.

2. There is nothing "Nigerian" about the Truth of God.

Paul was referring to believers here,those who have accepted Christ and shunned the lifestyle of sin.

But if you die as a sinner,you will be separated from God eternally.

What is death? Death is described by God in Genesis 3 vs 19 - 22 as perishing in the grave aka ceasing to exist after one dies. Those who are born-again obtain Eternal Life - John 3 vs 1 - 21- which ensures they continue to exist after their term in this world comes to an end meaning that they can no longer cease to exist even after they die. However, in addition to that, Paul is saying in his epistle there that those who are born-again and are sheep cannot be separated from Jesus Christ, excluding the goats who are equally born-again.

1. What proof do you have that you are born-again? And yes, Jesus Christ said everyone must be born again -- born of water and born of spirit -- so it isn't optional? According to Jesus Christ, these things are not of mental assent so, you if you are truly born-again, you will have evidence to show this, and the evidence, according to HIm is not one that can be hidden from even those around you.

The highlighted is a lie, suicide or not all are going to the same place at death: Hell

The problem is many don't know that Hell simply means Grave and nothing more.

Well let's see,
God created us and gave us the capacity to make choices. So as human we are endowed with the ability and capability to make choices. So what are we supposed to choose from?
Let's see,
Life and death
Light and darkness
Cold and hot
Up and down
Big boobs and small boobs
Big and small
Ugly and beautiful

Etc..

So the choice is yours, but which ever you choose, there is always a consequence.

that bible verse is for those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. It is not for everybody

The simple fact is that, who ever is in Christ can't commit suicide.

And only those who are of Christ will make heaven!

1. Look, scripture only applies as far as those who are under Law, and as Jesus Christ made clear, only those who are of the Lost sheep of Israel can qualify to be under Law with Him. So, going around brandishing scripture against every individual out there makes absolutely no sense.
