It's 2 weeks already and I have not seen the result. I thought I was not checking the right places. I badly need the result. Hopefully tomorrow.

Me too. We have a deadline to meet up. Hopefully before close of work on Wednesday the result will be out.

Tell your husband try and go to the foreign office to enquire and find out if your documents have been sent to them .

Seems foreign office have decide to also keep us waiting , have been waiti g for approval since december that my hubby have submitted documents that was requested until now nothing from them, we have called, mailed tire them no gree respond, foreign office in SALZGITTER.

You can't go to their office without an appointment, and they hardly pick up their calls for you to book an appointment with them,

Your husband should ask around in his city. There must be a way to reach them. Whether through email or booking appointment via their webpage.

Do the ABH always confirm approval to the spouse in in all cases or they may just approve to Lagos and not inform the partner in ? Just wondering cos it seems some people get the ABH confirmation and some do not mention it.

For me, the person in charge informed me that he has approved it. However, I think it depends on the officer in charge. If you don’t get a negative after submitting the documents they requested; it is assumed that they will approve it.

Please is it that your wife didn't submit the certificate on the day of her interview that they are requesting for it now?
I submitted mine on the day of interview which is October and the certificate expired on March this year, I don't know if they will request for new one.

Sorry to disturb you, please when did u submit to ABH, my husband submitted to ABH since February till today nothing, no confirmation and some of his original documents (work contract, etc) has not been returned.

Seems we’re in the same boat, got the verification success mail also in January, wrote embassy about 2 weeks ago they said they had ed the alien office & still waiting for their approval. Up until date my husband hasn’t been ed.

What is then the current situation with your spouse? Why did she have to submit A1 and verification when you’re on work visa or did I assume wrongly the work visa is not blue card?

The only conclusion is simple: the entire process is set-up to frustrate applicants and their spouses as much as possible until they either give up or feel thankful upon visa approval. Unnecessary waiting time and nonchalant attitude everywhere. Embassy and ABH.

There is a difference between skilled work visa and EU blue card. We are currently waiting for the A1 result and also lawyer verification. So, two things. #cheers

My ABH said she has received my spouse’s application via email and expecting it via post, once it arrives she will send an appointment for me to bring my documents

interview was in Nov 2021, in Feb 2022 I had not heard from anyone then I sent a mail to the people in berlin/Frankfurt that will give you info about your status. So they said it was with my ABH. I then mailed them and I was directed to the person in charge of my case. We had a phone interview and he gave his approval.

In March lawyer went for verification after then dead silence.

July verification complete and then requested for more documents and then dead silence again.

So in March 2023 they asked for approval again.
