15-25% turnout for elections in Nigeria,very poor on paper,but it actually shows you it's a very credible election in Nigeria.
I have always stated that any election in Nigeria where turnout was recorded at anything above 40% is a rigged election!All the previous elections with official turnouts above this 40% were rigged to varying degrees!!
There are a lot of factors in Nigeria that makes any final turnout above 40% practically impossible.These include the primary facts that people ed in places away from their abodes,some can't just go to polling units due to logistics,historical apathy of the middle- upper class,disruptions during the election day,deceased or infirm voters and general disinterest or disincentive to vote that day.
I always look at the accredited voters turnout vis-a-vis ed to know the relative degree of rigging in each state.
