You can discuss that with your employer. It wasn't me but my guy that went through the visa process. He bore the cost fully. Employer needed those to process his visa, so he provided them at his own cost to facilitate the visa processes.

Please do you know if the UAE embassy needs to attest the eligibility form? The Ministry of Foreign affairs has already attested it. Eligibility form was issued by the Ministry of Education.

Registration of vaccination/ covid test status on NCDC website. The will be issued after registration.

Well, people have thier various reasons for thier choice countries..... reasons might be short or long term plans, family reasons etc ....d Koko is...do whatever is best for you legitimately...and respect the laws of your host.

Happy new year guys, we all can see how a policy damaged an existing system of Japaa to gather up funds to move to other country.

My journey started on this page from attestation to securing visa and the whole movement.

Hmmm-- despite all the discouragement from this group about coming to the UAE.

I finally became a resident holder in Dec. 2020 , spent roughly 1.3m because naira was already at 120-135/aed.

I worked in 4 sectors, I even did a sales job for a forex company- I learned crypto properly and introduced the company to binance.

August 2022, I got an offer 5,000 salary job but residence visa was already less than 6months and fresh Nigeria visa is not available.

My write up is for those who feel UAE is dead , not yet if Visa was not banned.

Those who came earlier in 2018 2019 who ranted may not have had enough information about real jobs or just wanted to do anything.

Finally, I would advise folks to look at other places that are less problematic than the UAE.

I came, saw and didnt conquer but I learned lot of good lessons , i met great people who are part of my next of journey.

If fresh residence Visa resumes, those interested may try again.

Only few companies in Qatar can process visa for Nigerians, it also depends on your job position. If any agent is telling Qatar visit visa or employment is going through, insist on service before payment

Please don't spread false information, fresh residence visa hasn't resumed, it also affected some other African countries too. Only renewal is going through and it's 50:50. Some get renewed while some get rejected, and you have to provide police clearance certificate

What about tourist visa

For people that are desperate to go to UAE.
You can go to Dubai today but there are conditions to be fulfilled before your Visa will be granted and issued:
1) You will be ready to fly from Ghana, Cameroon or any airport that Emirate is still operating from in Africa, for the moment, Emirate airline is not operating in Nigeria.

2) You will book a confirmed Emirate airline before applying for 1 month visit Visa.

3) You will have to submit alongside your Visa application, your statement of with balance of $10k USD and above.

4) Hotel reservation for the period of your stay.

Is anyone here or knows some that recently travelled to Nigeria from UAE? Are they still asking for permit to travel at the airport cos the nsdc page to get the permit hasn't been opening for days now.
