Is this advisable? BC and MOD verifies this IDs before use. How will business centers print the card with the chip that comes with it?

Captured on the 24th of June, up till now, nothing.

Almost 3 months now and no show.

Please someone should advice me on what to do.... I did registration for port online, this is my first time of applying for port. I chose 64pages. I learnt from a friend that I should have chosen 32 pages. I have paid for the 64pages online yesterday. Can I still change it to 32 pages? Will those people consider me and give me the 64pages? What did you think I can do?

You cannot change it to 32 pages since you already make the payment but the 64 pages is also okay

It is better you leave it. 64pages is better because you will get it on time instead of the 32pages that they will tell you that there is no booklet. Good luck

You can use nin card to for ielts. Go to nimc official website to the app and follow the instructions. It's just 1k to , then you print it from those that print plastic id card.

It all depends on your location, the time you have in your hand and your person. If you can spare some time, I will recommend the DIY. According to Immigration sources, It takes 6 weeks after capture for your port to be ready (32 pages), 64 pages may be faster. In DIY, you must tick all dots in order to get your port on on schedule. you get your appointment date once you complete your online application on https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/. But if you do not have all the time, seek help.

Apply for lost/replacement. No, you cannot use it again as the information would be deleted from the system.

They will collect the NIN with bar code but you will need to print it on a plastic card

@ladysafe I dmed but didn't get a replied mail was hoping we could link up in benin city since your capturing date was Sept 5th,hope it went great?

Just few things we should note, if your capturing state is benin city just make sure you open a file weeks before your capturing date, possibly 3 weeks or more before your capturing date, the reason is files don't move the way we think as it needs to move from office to office.My capturing date was Sept 7th and my experience with nis benin city I will say was okay as the officers I met were friendly and always willing to assist if you need assistance.

Also make sure you go early regardless of your capturing time on your capture date,so you can get prep talk on what to do before name calling, and capturing take place.

Note: I didn't know I was supposed to open a file before my capturing date,was thinking I can open a file and capture same day like some states but it turned out different but still thanks to God I was able to open a file few days to my capturing date and was able to capture.Also to go with a nose mask it is mandatory in the capturing room except when asked to remove it for your picture to be taken,I went there 8am and was able to be part of the prep talk.

So today, I was able to connect with a custom boss at one of the NIS offices in Lagos and I was made known there’s no fast track of port atm, that appointment dates comes directly from Abuja and there’s nothing anyone (NIS officer) can’t do to bring the date closer

So if any officers is asking you to pay for express you’re doing that on your own because your port will only be available when it’s available.

Go strictly DIY.

Save yourself the stress and don’t allow those crocks collect your hard earned cash.

My experience in Asaba office wasn’t bad at all. They did beg for money and I paid 2k at servicom. I paid another 1k to my NIN in a cafe there. During capturing, they said my NIN couldn’t be verified. I believe this was a lie. I paid another 1k and said NIN was automatically verified.

For Asaba, if you want, you don’t have to go a day before capturing to open file although I recommend doing so especially for first time applicants. The process is very fast there.

Like someone mentioned, there’s nothing like Fast track. Appointment dates is via the online application. Appointment date is currently in November but if you can capture, it takes a week for the port to come out. I captured today and we were asked to come on Wednesday next week for collection.

When i tracked my application after my capturing, it is already in the last stage.

If you can wait to get appointment date, please choose Asaba. You’d get it 1week after capturing and the officers aren’t too bad. At worst , they’d beg you for money.
