Even within this regime they hunted and houded an independent Legislature during the first tenure saying it was confrontational and what Nigeria required was 'co-operative' institutions of governance so that Mr. President will have an easy way to lead Nigeria.

Now we can see that a seatbelt in a vehicle is not confrontational but protective by restraint, the Legislature's core duty to check and balance the powers of the Executive just in case they err (which is human).
