Good morning all.

Thanks to all who congratulated me. I would like to share my timeline and what i did differently in my 2nd application because i believe this will help someone.

1st Application was submitted 1st Dec 2021
Refusal was recvd 25/2/2022

From my gcm notes i discovered what i did wrong was the fact that i used my brother as additional sponsor. Even though i am self sponsor but i decided to add my brothers for additional comfort which wasnt necessary after all. I already paid 16kcad for 1st year fees and had sufficient funds to take care of the 2nd year fees and my upkeep in my personal . The VO's concern with my brothers was that his payslips werent included and there were lumpsums in his . Well for some reason my broda didnt want to give me statement of his salary . He only gave me statement of a with his wife where he saves money ( he lives in the USA)

What i did differently

I never wanted to use an agent because of the cost implication and because i believed i could do it myself but i was led by the Holy spirit to use @Frankrobbin. So i decided to go ahead with him, the guy is quite professional i must say though he is so busy that you need to keep calling his attention.

The guy advised me to get professional valuation for my land and building which i did. He also advised that based on my age i shouldn't have bothered with a sponsor outside myself or hubby ( i am over 45yrs). In addition he rearranged all my documents and made them easier for the VO to see all because i had lots of documents.

I highly recommend Frank any day because he is very very professional. I didnt give him breathing space, i must confess that i wanted my application submitted fast fast because my school was meant to Start May 9th.

I also want to appreciate @Anon123, @NorthernshoreLS. NorthernshoreLS thanks a lot, you were the person to 1st advice me to use Frank even though i didnt want to initially. This forum is indeed full of wonderful brothers and sisters.

My prayer is that we shall all get our PPR's soonest in Jesus name.

I swore an affidavit for my port and also plan to add these documents to it so further prove its my name. will that suffice ??

Please proceed with your upfront medicals to save time. Instead of waiting for medical request, you will be waiting for ppr.

First when will your old port expire? Have you started processing a new one? Because I saw on FB last week someone from India got rejected because his port had like very few months left before expiration. Please be careful to avoid any unnecessary issues affecting your application.

With sending your port for PPR you have to send the one you used initially for your application. Based on my knowledge though?

I have applied for a college in Ontario for a one year PG.CERT on Business Analytics (career progression). I am self sponsored.

Total tuition - 14kCAD (This will be paid in full)
living cost - 10kCAD
Miscellaneous - 2kCAD
Total - 26kCAD

1. When applying for study permit, what exchange rate does the VO use? is it from Oanda which is like the official rate or they use black market rate to calculate the POF.

2. I might not be right on this but does two years program have higher chances of getting study approvals than one year program?

3. Home ties (single applicant) - my job, landed properties, I have a running business lease contract with one of the top 3 telecommunication company in Nigeria and my family here (aged mother & younger siblings)

4. POF & tuition fee (26kCAD) is available anytime but in fixed deposit and I also have funds (N4.5m) in my pension . I do not keep bulk funds sitting in my due to rising inflation rate. My statement of turnover in six months should be above N30m but amount sitting in the might not be above 300k. The only lumpsum that came in lately is N17.5m (sale of property) and part of it fixed and balance use for other stuffs.

5. I want to airtight my study permit application after having my offer from the school. What do you think I should do putting into consideration all I have put up? What is missing? What other best ways to do this perfectly and simple!

Please I need your help, application was submitted June 15, biometrics done 22 and updated 23. I am yet to see an update on medicals and eligibility. ission was for July 4 but had to defer, new ission is January. Do I send the ission letter via webform? I am speaking with the school on the possibility of getting a November slot.

I actually paid 150cad for study permit application fee, I think that is the price without biometric, just send like 110 or 115 us dollars to your barter dollar card
