How much is GRE in naira?

In as much as I do not intend to put sand in anyone's garri, those ing for the subsidized GRE of around 50-70k should know they do so at their own risks. Many people's result were withheld and told to make a full payment of $200+ which is the official price.

It could be that the guys doing this have found a way around it, I can't really say, but be careful people.

By using more of the ETS guide, do you mean they can be enough?

Currently self studying and preparing for the exam but I am honestly confused by the stuffs online. There are like 5 texts and different people mention different ones as the best.

For example, is the ETS maths review and the Quant practise tests not enough material for the quant section?

Are people who use those other texts like NOVA at better chances than those who use just ETS?

I wrote my GRE yesterday. Thanks to this forum coz I was clueless on where and how to start my preparation. Recommendations from this forum was so helpful and invaluable.
I can testify to your assertion about the Verbal section too. It's more of context and understanding, seems GRE is testing less of your vocabulary (just an assumption though) now. I also got 3 Quant sections. Time is very important. If given enough time, one could possibly solve all the questions, but in GRE, solve as much as you can and review your responses.
For your preparation ensure you practice, get used to the timing, the style, the tricks and twists. Use more of the ETS official guide.
Regardless of your score, what's important is getting ission and funding where necessary. I pray we all get our desires.

Hey guys. If you’ll need the soft copy books for the GRE, please send me an email. I don’t come here so often because I’ve been preparing for the exam.
Also, I don’t know if I’m late to the party but I just found out I can take a free practice test on Kaptest. I think it’s under Kaplan and I ed using the book a week or 2 ago. If you’d also like to , I’ll be going to my tutorial center on Monday so you can email me the question you get asked during the registration and I’ll look through the book to give you an answer. Ps- I don’t own the Kaplan book- (I only have ETS and Manhattan) so I only have access to Kaplan from Monday’s - Wednesdays

Guys, I am in a dilemma.

I ed for GRE with an agent I met here on Nairaland and paid 68k for the exam. The guy did the registration for me, but after sometime, I noticed an outstanding of $250.38 on my GRE test profile due to chargeback. I informed him, he said he would rectify it. I think he did, because the outstanding payment was cleared.

After sometime, an outstanding payment of $280.38 appeared on my GRE test profile again, still as a result of chargeback. This time I became worried that the guy might be making the payments through fraudulent means, as the payments keep being reversed with a higher charge. When I notified him, he said he would fix it and that I should not worry and keep studying for my test. He eventually fixed it (or so I thought) and the outstanding payment was cleared.

Today, I decided to check my GRE test profile, and I noticed an outstanding balance of $310.38 has resurfaced on my GRE , still as a result of chargeback. I have asked for a refund from the guy (I hope he gives me), but I am considering ing for the GRE with a new I have already created.

My question is will there be any consequence(s) if I for the GRE test with another new . I don't want a situation where this outstanding fee will be transferred to my new , because as it is now, the outstanding balance on this where the agent helped me to make payments is already far higher than the original GRE registration fee.

Please experienced guys in the house, advise a brother
