since my spouse's SOWP application has been approved, the second application i.e visit visa is still there, eligibility has not started on it. What can I do about the visit visa?

You can withdraw it. Since SOWP has been approved already. But send ur port for stamping first and get it back before taking any decision

I will advise to let it process, at the end of the day you've gotten the SOWP. When my spouse's VV was approved few days later his SOWP was approved. We've seen PPRs of applicants on this thread who had eligibility and PPR on the same day. Enjoy the 100CAD you spent on your VV

Kindly let the application take it course. Don't withdraw it by yourself for now. With your SOWP approval, they VO will take the next possible action. Peoole have secured SOWP and letter VV while some were asked to withdraw. But before you withdraw, kindly ensure that your spouse port is stamped.

when submitting port request, on the consent form do i need to fill only on the second page.....
and ignore the the forth page that says applicants wishing to provide biometrics

I came into Canada with our son in January, and we submitted my husband's sowp application, due to the long processing time on ircc page and an urgent health issue relating to me, we submitted another visit application using the new portal on the 11th of April. Then the wait began, but we trusted God for miracle and mercy. We sent many mails and webforms thinking IRCC will consider the health aspect and expedite the process. We started holding on to God's words especially Mathew 19:6 'What therefore God has ed together, let no man put asunder' let no delay, policy, protocol, ircc..... put asunder. Because this is our first time living separately as a family and I must confess its not easy. I also used those people who testified of their sowp applications approval within 65, 72, 79 days as prayer point.
I was still preparing to send my transcript to ircc before the end of the week but the approval came in when we least expected.
Today makes it 85 days and I am here to testify of God's mercy, goodness and faithfulness.

I pray for everyone waiting that God will you all in Jesus name.
I appreciate everyone on this platform, I will not forget to mention Lianna. God bless you all.

Covid19 negative result was required by the airline and at his layover, but upon arrival he wasn't required for one only asked for his Vaccination Card and ArriveCAN.

1. If PPR is requested for, should all the ports (spouse and all the kids ports) be packed in one envelop for spouse and all the kids or different envelop

2. The kids who are minors and didn't do biometrics, will they pay transmission fees when sending ports

I submitted my study visa application together with my son's visit visa and got approved last year. This recent one is sowp for my husband.
Is your application sowp?. if yes, you can submit a visit visa for your son using his dad's study permit and all other documents for him.
We can always talk through mail.
The gurus in the house can also provide you with more information.
