Can the husband's bank statement be use to apply for the Visa or does it neccesarily needs to be that of the wife. Source of funds, you attach your statement which will show you did the transfer.

Thank you � but then after starting the application process on the ACRO website I realized England/United Kingdom isn’t on the list of countries requesting the certificate so I’m guessing the Nigerian one alone will suffice.

If someone employed you..why will they give you fake COS ....?? Why are you scared of authenticity??

Even if a "middleman" agency is involved in getting your job...i dont think someone will be crazy enough to give you fake COS to go and present at the VAC....

That said..COS is 11 digits alphanumeric, usually starts with C
so, COS is not a document ....u will only get a number from the employer... if the employer wants to be nice they can do you a screen shot of the UKVI page when they finished applying for your COS...

The day she received the alert is 0. Next day, is Day 1

It is always advised, she applies first. However, applying together, not sure if there is any harm except otherwise advised by gurus

..if you are going together...just have the 1270£ plus your own 285£
..if you have child that will be plus 315£ ..an additional child is 200£...
You and wife alone...1270 +285
Plus one child= 1270 + 285+ 315
Plus 2 children = 1270+285+315+200

In my opinion, I think it's best you leave it in the primary applicant's , to avoid stories that touch.

In the case of student visa, it's stated clearly that any could be used and backed up by a consent letter from the owner of the , but in this case, they didn't give any alternative to using your . Besides, when I asked my employer ing another for the proof of funds, she told me it had to be mine and so a transfer had to be made, and 28 days counted.

They are actually supposed to send you the COS. I don’t see why not. It is not just a series of numbers. It’s an actual document. There you would also get their sponsorship license number, see if they ticked maintenance and all what not. From my experience, it is sent. It was even from the COS we found out that we were getting 5 years contracts with the nhs trust.

Just in case it is one of these scam schemes trending, make sure you get your COS and not just a number because I know people are desperately paying for cos now.

If you scroll down that page, you'll see we're it says the police cert must be from all countries you've lived except the UK.

However, at the end of your application, you'd be asked to confirm you have the police clearance for the counties you indicated that you lived in. For UK, I clicked no and stated the reason why I don't have it which is what's on their website.

I didn't get a pdf either, I got a screenshot of the ukvi page showing my details, cos number and immigration skills charge.

If what you want to pay is more than $20 and you want to use a Naira card, it won't go.

The solution is to go to your bank and apply for a dollar card. Buy dollars from Bureau de Change and deposit it. Then you can pay.

Had a dollar already so i requested for dollar MasterCard, told customer care exactly what I needed to pay for . After getting the card,it was very useless. My Friend in canada had to help me pay from there.

thank you so so much, this is by far the best response we have gotten so far. Plus the exact same applies to her, 5years sponsorship stated on the COS and sponsorship license number

Disclaimer: I'm not a visa expert.
But based on people's experience I've seen, if they are applying at the same time as a family, the money can be in the dependants . Their spouse can include a letter stating the funds are fully available for the whole family to themselves while in the UK.

In your case is your husband applying with you? If not, I'm not sure.

That statement is referring to the main applicant not dependant. The money has to be in the main applicant's . It is CLEARLY stated there.

Just like you have been told earlier, the CoS is a whole 2-paged document with a lot of relevant information needed for your visa application and not just CoS number. Request for the whole document, you are within your right to do so. DON'T TOY WITH 10-YEAR VISA BAN.
