My good sis has gotten PR/COPR and she’s planning soft landing in June. Her younger sister (14yrs old and US citizen) wants to accompany her, however, she is not vaccinated at all.

Travel rules here, looks like she will need pre arrival and post arrival tests:

My advice to her is to leave her sister and soft land on her own jejely. One parent travelling with kids but without the other parent already has to provide parental permission.....BC, authorisation etc....now imagine the conversation at the border when travelling with a minor of which she is neither parent nor legal guardian...........if they happen to ask questions nko?

The processing time for Vfs Lagos is about 6/7 weeks. Vfs Lagos sends to Accra vfs for processing. So by sending directly to Accra, you're reducing the processing time by about 2 weeks. 2 weeks being the time it takes Vfs lagos to send your file to Accra.

Hi. I understand you completely. Congratulations on your PPR.

This is the process to send your port to Accra:
Submitting port(s) to Accra VFS without using Lagos VFS.

Gather all documents required by IRCC and VFS Accra. Including payment teller(s) for the sum of GHC 405 to ( paid per person to vfs GH's . (See further instruction on addendum 1 below)

Put all documents in an envelope and proceed to DHL or any courier of your choice and pay for a one-way delivery to:

Canadian Visa Application Centre(In Partnership with International Organisation for Migration),
Baptist Convention House,
Abelemkpe Road,
Abelemkpe,
[email protected]
+233 50 129 5270

VFS Global Accra, who will then submit to the high commission.

Addendum 1:
Bank details:

Payment can be made through any family or friend resident in Ghana. There are also agents who can help with this if neccesary.

Other Things to note:
1. Get your tracking number and monitor on DHL tracker till its recieved by Vfs gh
2. Wait for the VFS tracking details— they will give you update on when it will be sent to IRCC and when it will be returned to you
3. Wait for the return of your port— VFS also uses DHL to return— you don't pay for it, it's included in the GHC 405

Its a private company and inworkinwork 10hrs daily. The reference letter has 10hrs daily. I have updated my profile to 50hrs weekly. The only issue i have is that my score increased from 1008 to 1033. I want to attach an LOE too stating ii mistakenly quoted the hours per day rather than per week. Will this be termed misrepresentation? My score did not go below the cut off either.

Thank you for this update. A real sign of hope for those of us that sent to London VFS. Mine arrived at London VO for processing on the 24th. Hopefully it comes back in a week or two.

The way they’ve been talking about these so called changes to the express entry since last year ehn. I just hope the announcement doesn’t make a lot of people ineligible o. Anyways the announcement is in less than an hour, fingers crossed

I am expecting my copr in a week or two but the twist is that my wife might not be able to fly due to she would be over 36 weeks pregnant. Will traveling alone then not be an issue?
