Oscar without a doubt is a terrific actor, first noticed him in the series with Jessica Chastain 'Scenes from a marriage. Loved it

He was great in that too, Jessica just won an Oscar...

Nowadays i find it difficult to watch movies, most especially series in which women takes the lead role. I feel like they try so hard to overcompensate on the fact that they are women instead of embracing the softness it adds. The last series i enjoyed with a female lead role is Anna. Gone are the days of beautiful strong women in series like Nikita, the Good wife, Devious maids, Grey's anatomy.
I'm hungry for a female lead series that is balanced.

This was one reason I liked Euphoria. For once a I saw a female lead character who had only weaknesses.

actually the issue isn't about female protagonists...the issue is they aren't written well...

How to get away with murder had Annalise Keating and we loved it...
Look at The Villainess, a Korean action movie from a few years ago...with a female lead but I enjoyed it cos she was well written...there are still a few shows or movies with well written female leads...

It's just that it's hard for Hollywood to write good female leads nowadays...
Most of the good ones I've seen are either from years ago or from other countries...
Feels like Hollywood is more focused on female empowerment than writing a good female lead character

And to be honest i am enjoying this season 6 especially the new characters, the white lady that slept with Tommy, she has instantly become one of fan favorite, it's so sad won't be seeing more of her as this is the last season.
Though there are less violence in season 6 but the conversations amongst the casts are really interesting to listen to.
The voice tune of Arthur very intimidating and the ever boss lady Ada Shelby.

Funny enough i have come to love Ada Shelby the more in all the characters for some reasons i can't explain.

Well it's the last episode on Monday. Honestly speaking i am going to miss the series, especially the casts.

I think the bar is raised very high for them this season two for two reasons.

1) The house of dragon and the ring of fire.
2) The attack they got from fans for not following the source material.

So don't be surprise, i repeat don't be surprise if the season 2 actually go toe to toe with ring of fire and the house of dragon.
These people have learnt their mistakes and will obviously do better in season 2.
Do you know the season 2 even have a more bigger budget and more casts added?
Even Amazon had to space both series because they know each it's unique on it's own.
So never look down on the season 2 of Wheels of time, they might pull out a surprise return.
You know season 2 of game of thrones was better much better than season 1 right?

So yes the wheel of Time will come better this time.

I can't say much about LOTR but one thing I'm co©ksure is WOT S2 is never beating or better than HOTD first season. I can bet any amount on it.

You don't need to tell me about WOT budget and it's production plans. I'm well aware of that. Also, spending a gazillion of money on TV content doesn't necessarily mean it will be really good.
