How much for the classes? I tried checking online but couldn't get the price.
Maybe you should call their number to get their current fees. It might be different from my own days.

what's the problem with your application?

I went to Alliance Francaise towards the end of last year.
According to the receptionist, you'll pay 25k every month to attend the classes. You'll also buy some books before the beginning of each level (I think there are 3 or 4 levels).
If you're a beginner, I think you'll have to spend about 9 months on learning French. Then, spend extra 1 month or so to focus on the specific things you need for TCF or so.
I went to the Ibadan center, the receptionist told me it would take 16months to learn from the beginning, that is if I go for afternoon class of 10hrs per week..The time frame is too long for me, I want to be able to write the exam by December latest. I didn't know it would take this long, maybe I would have to get a tutor

You can stay about 6 months with AF just to get a good foundation, then switch to private tutoring until you're ready for the exams.

That's good idea. Private tutoring will tailor the classes to suit your specific needs.

This journey has been a very funny one. Last week I had to write IELTS again because I wrote IELTS in 2019 and it just expired. I never even thought I would have to write IELTS again based on expiration of result. Anyway, the journey continues.
I received my result yesterday and with this my score + TCF canada exam has increased from 500 to 506. It's just very annoying that people with higher scores don't get chosen for Ontario PNP but I shall remain hopeful
Hey, wondering if you’ve gotten NOI yet in Ontario’s recent draws. Good luck

We are really in the same shoes, you can try to put French as your first language and then put English as ur second language and see what the crs score looks like. Who knows if Ontario will remove the CRS cap for French speaking or not

I waited for fsw and my 2019 ielts with band 8 expired and I was sitting pretty on 522 waiting for fsw. I had to write another ielts to score lower so I can fit in for Ontario. The Journey so far as really been funny. After changing my French to first language and English(2019 ielts) to second language, my CRS score lowered to 466, was hoping Ontario will com soon, and my birthday came I lost 5marks, few days after my BD Ontario did draw from 463-467 French speaking, I blamed myself for adding another year. With my new ielts that I tried to score lower now am back at 463 without even swapping my ielts and TEF. I hope the draw comes soon for our sake.

Also try to look into Sask, having French gives edge. But POF must be 3months running before applying.

I pray the next Ontario draw finds all of us who reduced our scores to fit within the cut-off range.

Looks like reducing scores may no longer be needed. The last 2 OINP draws in Feb and Mar have had an upper threshold of 600 so hopefully same will apply for the next French Speakers' Draw.

All the best to those with CLB 7 across ........NOIs coming soon!

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm still processing my school applications but let's not lose faith on this journey. According to cic news, it seems like IRCC may resume draws within the next few months. Although, application processing time is still estimated to take between 2-3 years but this will be a step forward for most people that can't afford to go to school abroad.

Who knows if the same will be for French Speaker draw!! I feel if it has an upper threshold of 600 then they will reduce the intake by using the Date of Express entry profile created.. Let's wait till April.. I see French speaker draw happening.

I doubt the bolded sha, they’ve really improved on processing times recently and I doubt they’ll let it go back to 2-3 years after the criticism they’ve faced for the 2019/20 application timelines. It’s going back to 6 months or less

This dream is extremely valid, don’t loose hope at all. This race is not for the faint hearted.

After my experience with TEF where I was unable to get the required marks, I decided to give it another try but my tutor advised me to give TCF a try, ça s’est avéré d’être ma meilleure décision.

With her guidance, advice and tips, I ed the TCF on my first attempt with the following grades

CO. 690
CE 690
EE. 14
EO. 13

I am very grateful to my tutor and to God, it’s still like a dream. It has been long hard road.

Congrats ! I have nothing but respect for guys on this TEF/TCF path.

FSW or OINP...you're a winner !! Well done !!!

Following the recent and latest testimony shared today on this thread, I wish to share my own success on the journey of TEF and TCF, while mine is similar to the earlier post. I as a matter of fact wrote TEF twice but the result didn't come out well, I equally got the of the same formidable and professional french tutor shared here earlier today.
My scores are as follows:
CO: C1 521
CE: B2 498
EO : B2 13
EE: B2 12

Infact her professionalism is top notch. Am glad to share my TCF result today on this thread and also to encourage others that are focusing on french towards Canada dream. Her number has been shared before on this forum. +2348073474774.
She offers quality preparation tutoring service at affordable price. Give her a trial and am sure you won't regret it.
