I think @pavoda concern is the “istrative review” that was sighted when it was tracked online. That should give cause for concern, though…

But just be patient…it’s still early. The review will still Favour you…

Don’t worry yourself, just be patient.
It’s just 2 days since the interview. In my case, did interview on Monday, got notification on Friday. Another notification on Sunday that it was with DHL

I thought I would print confirmation later at night. My printer packed up. left home by 6am for 9.15am appointment, everywhere was blocked. I arrived late around 9.40. When they calculated the cost of the printing they said 33k. 3k per page. I gave them 12k.
Now the interview, I was just hearing denial right left and centre. I just zero my mind. My interview took a lot of time. To God be the glory, I got the visa .I appreciate the lady VO too. She was thorough with me but still very friendly.

I have not been able to get an appointment date and I don’t qualify for IW/Drop box

I will be relocating to the UK in March, does anyone know the process for applying for US visa as a Nigerian in the UK and if dates are currently available there.

The earliest date I’m seeing in Nigeria is October 2023

Never mind them o. They said 3k per coloured page and they said 11 pages. I printed two DS 160. Infact, it was the second DS 160 that didn't make me leave home early. As a final preparation, I was checking this thread and I realized I needed to make sure I ed the port digitally. When I was completing the DS 160, I got a message I could go with a port so I didn't bother. When I now checked this morning, I quickly tried to complete another one. Eventually, they didn't even collect it. He helped me the port I brought along.
The remaining documents were ing documents and she asked for all of them and more. Yes, I needed them

Lol yours was fair sef, when I went to drop my port, the touts were insisting I make copies of all the documents. I didnt even try to respond, I just kept on walking.

At the end of the day, none of the paper documents were collected. Just my port and one port photo.

They only need to sight the paper documents to be sure you applied, you paid the visa fee and were scheduled to come drop your port.

They need to sight the port with your last visa to confirm if you meet the IW visa expiry condition…

Was there any documentation requirement to justify this excuse? I used to think only medical emergencies or students’ resumption will be accepted as excuses under EA

So this ing document will be your letter from the US employer justifying that it was an urgent business? Was there any other document required?
And by the way, when did you book your initial appointment and when was that for?
I want to book an EA too but i cant even get the regular appointment slot required before one can request an EA

Thank you. I am now considering sending them an email with the ing documents to request for the EA since i cant get any appointment from the portal - Regular or IW.

Yes. The US based business entity must say they will lose some income wether directly or indirectly if you are not able to travel. It doesn't mean they can just write anything, there must be proofs which was why I needed those documents i printed. I booked on Friday. Got the letter from the US company early yesterday and I applied for emergency appointment with it immediately. Within three hours, it was approved and a new appointment sent for today.

They need to sight the port with your last visa to confirm if you meet the IW visa expiry condition…

If the last visa was in the old port then you would need to submit both the old port and new port. They wont collect the old port if the last visa wasn't there.

Hello everyone

Any update on this. Are appointment dates for interview waiver now available. I have an appointment for March next year, I want to be sure to get an appointment for interview waiver before canceling.

As anyone who travelled to the US to have a baby had issues with the interview waiver or a face to face interview is better to clear yourself with the VO.

Unfortunately, this is so, you are no longer eligible for interview waiver .My date is fast approaching as well and I pray I get an appointment date soon.
