Sir, please can you tell me more about the yohako inverter (1.5kw/12volts).
1, what is the idle power consumption?
2, what different types of batteries can it charge?
3, any other useful info that my help me in my selection

They are if well installed and sized. You also need to buy quality brands to enjoy some advance features. From my experience, I personally put hybrid (High PV to be precise) as first option before any client.

Dont go from 4KVA to 5KVA, it is not worth the effort, time and money.
Since your current 4KVA does not meet your needs, go for 7- 8KVA Hybrid, with future Power demands in Mind.
if you Upgrade from 4KVA to 5KVA now, you will be doing another Upgrade, which is costly, very soon.

I had the same feelings initially but I think his idea of upgrading is moving to an hybrid with solar s and probably had little to do with moving from 4 to 5KVA

7-8kva on only 4 v 220ah battery?...e no get head, battery size should always match inverter. he likely is upgrading to run from high idle consumption of non hybrid models

a useless nairalander sold this charger/ a similar charger to me about 2 yrs ago...couldnt even charge leadacid battery...output voltage doesn't go above 12.8v. the mumu guy refused to take back his product and refund me.......

lolz, kpele. that is a pulse repair charger. i doubt if it can charge lifepo4 efficiently.

That charger is one of the best pulse repair charger in the market
The only draw back is that it can't charge lithium or lifepo4 battery

Output voltage of 12.8 is for lithium settings for 3s. Lead acid charges at 14.4v at automatic setting. The manual settings go as far as 15.7v.

Probably you had a defective one.

You sure say you reason this one well at all?
There are Hybrid Models of the same capacity or less, if the "idle power consumption" was the only problem.

Unless you saying the Inverter will not charge the batteries or it would not give output or he cant expand his battery bank to 8units or even change to Lithium batteries in the nearest future?

Battery size is a function of many variables but it is better to oversize the inverter from the get-go, (due to its high, initial cost outlay) and then gradually increase the size of your batteries to it (no negative consequence), than to under-size your Inverter from the beginning, then you have to pay big money to buy one of higher capacity, when your needs increase.
And you can bet, needs always increase over time.

I am also concerned about inverter freezers. My experience with the inverter fridge did not meet my expectations. They do not drag too much current when starting, they freeze fast, trouble starts when there is no power and in a short time the fridge is already getting hot. Works best when you want to power your fridge 247, so I will like to know if the thermocool inverter freezers also require 24hrs power or I am better off buying a regular freezer that can stay frozen for at least 72 hrs of no power?

The sticker on the Thermocool inverter freezer boasts 100 hrs frost retention post power outage, the same way it is indicated on the Thermocool nkn-inverter counterpart. I don't have power outage, so testing that long has not been possible. However in instances where I need to defrost it to get some items out or clean it, I have unplugged it overnight and left the lid open sef for the thawing to be faster. It still has the frosts on by morning.

Basically I think the frost retaining ability of a freezer is determined by the thickness of the insulation it has. That is the thickness of the wall of the freezer which packs the foam insulation to hold in heat/cold and reduce equalization with the ambient temperature.

There is a 210L Biobase deep freezer (non inverter) at the workplace that has 340w consumption on the nameplate. The internal lining is made of stainless steel as against the aluminium used in our regular home freezers. You need to see the thickness of the insulation on this freezer; almost double the ones we all have in our homes. There is another Biobase standing freezer which attains minus 86 degrees temperature. The consumption is around 800w or thereabout. The wall thickness is almost 4 times what I am used to. Of course both freezers are laboratory/industrial freezers used to preserve microorganisms and reagents.

So it's more of the insulation that determines frost retention, and of course to some extent the ambient temperature.

I don't know much about LG inverter freezers or any inverter fridges though.
