I didn't read the second part of your question.

1. You can do your remed at QLife or IOM. They'll send your result to IRCC. You don't have to anything via webform.

2. There is a high probability that QLife and IOM are fully booked up to your 30-day deadline. You can confirm online on their websites. But not to worry if they are fully booked.

This is what I did during my remed in Dec 2021:

For QLife, I sent a mail and explained my situation. I also Attach my remed form sent by IRCC (the one you can from your portal). They replied the mail and scheduled me for a date that was like a week before my deadline. I wasn't comfortable with that so I explored IOM.

IOM was a bit more flexible. I walked in and with plenty beg and explanations and long wait, I was allowed to do my remed same day (it was my lucky day, it seemed like some people didn't show up). If they don't allow you to do it same day, you will be scheduled for another date which will be earlier than what QLife will offer you.

In all, try and explain your situation. Let them know your medical is on request by IRCC (not upfront), and you have a deadline.

Depending on where you’re going to get your remeds done. For Qlife (where I did mine) you don’t need to, they’ll snap you the port photograph there on the day of the Medicals. I don’t know about IOM

Thanks for your response once again. Concerning the IMM008, there was no need to submit it since my status had not changed, and I was yet to inform IRCC of the impending change in status. It was during the period when I sent my port for stamping, that I did the court marriage and informed IRCC of the change. Subsequently, they acted on it accordingly.

In all honesty this pcc is a dicey thing, and one must read carefully especially if u have an extensive travel history. My first application was refused because of this pcc stuff. My wife has travelled to more than 25 countries and I can tell u that our criminality hasn't even started meanwhile eligibility has been ed since March 2020.

My question thus is this. My wife has moved to a new country, we already informed Ircc via webform about change of address but no revert from them yet. I read here that there is a high likely hood of getting Adr for pcc if u change ur address. Are we providing new pcc for both countries again?

Send webforms about change of address. If they need PCCs they'll send you an ADR.

Good day all. Please i have a question. My husband is the primary applicant, i moved to sweden to be with him in Sept 2020. Our criminality was ed before i did. So we didn't inform IRCC of change of address because my address in Nigeria is still valid. Would there be an issue? Because we have just done our remedicals and are waiting for ppr. Though i have requested for a police report here in sweden. But will submitting it slow down our application. And is it possible i don't submit it but i just hold it in case they ask for it when entering Canada. Please help. Thanks.

This is the process to send your port to Accra:
Submitting port(s) to Accra VFS without using Lagos VFS. Good luck and congrats again on your PPR.

Gather all documents required by IRCC and VFS Accra:

1. International port(s)

2. 2 port Photographs (see further instructions below in addendum 1)

3. port Request Letter (aka ready for visa mail)

4. Duly filled Height and Eye Colour Chart. (A single form containing details for every member of the family)

5. IMM008 for those with a change in family composition (by a birth, death, marriage or divorce, etc)

6. 1 CVAC form. With only page 2 filled in by PA. Do not fill pages 3 & 4. Also advisable to fill in Caps. Ink color doesn't matter.

7. Payment teller(s) for the sum of GHC 415 to ( paid per person to vfs GH's . (See further instruction on addendum 2 below)

Put all documents in an envelope and proceed to DHL or any courier of your choice and pay for a one-way delivery to:

Canadian Visa Application Centre(In Partnership with International Organisation for Migration),
Baptist Convention House,
Abelemkpe Road,
Abelemkpe,

VFS Global Accra, who will then submit to the high commission.

Addendum 1.
-2 recent port photos per person.
-Not older than 6 months
-In Canadian PR dimension (refer to photo chart)
-1 detailed copy with the name and DOB of the person at the back. Below that, write or stamp the Name
& address of photo studio with date photo was taken.
-A second copy for each person is left plain

Payment can be made through any family or friend resident in Ghana. There are also agents who can help with this if neccesary.


Other Things to note:

1. Get your tracking number and monitor on DHL tracker till its recieved by Vfs gh
2. Wait for the VFS tracking details— they will give you update on when it will be sent to IRCC and when it will be returned to you
3. Wait for the return of your port— VFS also uses DHL to return— you don't pay for it, it's included in the GHC 415

Does he need to inform accra VO (he's afraid of doing this cos he's 2019 AOR) of the change in address and can he send his family port to the VO in London? Pls respond if you can. Also how does he inform them of a change in mailing address? Thanks

just send port to london Vo. Change of address is not relevant.

I believe he can send his port to London vo directly since Nigerians from here already do so, and it's not up to a month since he relocated. It might as well be seen as a vacation.

they will send to the address provided on the courier form. Vfs cant access what you filled to ircc too.
