If there is sometin I learnt from dis delay is dat d embassy cn delay bt u also hv foregin offices in here dat also delay lyk Bremen, Munich, essen ( dis r d ones I knw) . Their foregin offices cn delay u especially if u hv issues ,so in all u hv to EXERCISE ALOT OF PATIENCE , borrow patience If u dnt hv . Tnkz

Try Riviera suites. And yes it's around army cantomment. Like 15 minutes walk to Walter Carrington. Very lovely hotel but quite pricey.

I am asking because when I had mine then the embassy had a fixed exchange rate which everyone must use and it was different from the normal exchange rate. Anyway thanks

Write an email to them then I think they reply emails

He has written lots of emails too o. The o my one they replied was the first one he wrote them and they told him to send some documents. Since then, they just went quiet. No reply to mails or calls. I'm just tired.

Letters are more likely to be replied than Emails.

This whole reunion journey as someone rightly said requires alot of Patience and prayers. Nonetheless the spouse in can keep bombarding them with letters.

Someone on this thread said a while ago that your appointment should cover your kids if they're minors. How old were your children at the time?

I got a message on d 6th of Dec 2021 I got approval to submit my port n insurance also for d kids which I did on the 8th and the mail says our travel date must not be earlier than 14days which was d exact date we picked but to my surprise we are yet to receive our visas from them. Note that I sent an empty courier already. Call them severally but no cogent reasom.
Pls what could be the cause of this

Try tracking your envelope...did you go to submit the port yourself? choosing exact 14days and the courier delivers to the embassy into the 14days is contradictory to the request...you should have given a month or at least 3wks...just be patient as this happened during the holidays when most offices staff take holidays.

I submitted tourist Application for UK on the same 8th dec. and did my biomectrics same morning in here, is being more than 15 working days but nothing from them.

Yes , I did while I was in Nigeria bt wasn't given, they asked me to wait for d family reunion visa, even though I didn't tell dem Abt d family reunion process, I tink it's all documented in their system. dnt get ur hopes high cos they "hardly " gv visiting visa to u if d prsn u r going to visit is family especially spouse, cos they knw dat we no go gree come bk after d visit. But u cn still try ur luck. Best of luck .

My spouse has her family reunion appointment next month, but her port is currently being held at Belgian embassy because she applied for visa to go on a training. the Belgian embassy is not responding to her mails to retrieve the port even though the travel schedule is past due.
Does anyone know if she can attend the family reunion visa appointment at the German embassy with a colored copy of her port, or will she have to postpone the appointment?

Was she not expecting Appointment this period? why play with her port by sending it to a 3rd party...
you did not state the date next month but if it is about a month from now i will advice she wait 2wks to the date and apply for express port renewal under lost of item. I believe that if you cancel your appointment you have to wait more than one year for a new one.

same here submitted travel insurance since November 30 till now no word from the embassy, whenever i call,they say they are still working on it and waiting for confirmation from the auslanderberhörde

Did my interview for skilled immigration act visa (with pre approval) on the 17th of December but I am yet to hear back from them. I was led to believe they make a decision within 3 weeks. What could be the issue? This is the 4th week now.

I did mine for bluekard in october and still noting yet, they keep saying the same thing every-time I call. “We will get back to you once we have a new information so always check your mail.”

My resumption date was suppose to be december 15. Although my employers have extended to February. This was after extending to January.

I was thinking it was because of the Christmas/New Year holidays that's causing the delay. Now I dunno anymore.
