You need monthly income from your Investments.

Seplat pays dividends every quarter, UPDC REIT, GTB, Zenith Bank, Access Bank, Stanbic IBTC, MTN, Airtel, Nigeria Brewery, Total, Friesland Wamco, UBA etc pay dividends twice a year.

March to June is when 70% of dividend income are paid on NGX

Apart from that you can have FGN bond Investments that pay dividends in January/July, March/September, April/October, June/December.

Thanks so much.
So UPDCReit pays dividends twice a year? Thats great. Pls whats their dividend like. Is it substantial?

WEMA BANK
Seems like too much grammar dey worry this bank. smiley

1. There'll be reconstruction of shares in ratio 3:1 .......i.e one share for every 3 held.
If you have 60,000 units, it'll become 20,000 after reconstruction. Think they called this "reliquishing shares by shareholders.

2. The 2/3 reliquished will be repurchased in form of right issues........

3. Market Maker has been appointed to repurchase reliquished shares.........

We will understand the grammar much better as time goes on........
We may likely witness some manipulations here in coming days....

Oga @Onegentleguy happy new year sir!
More of God's protection, direction, good health and blessings for us all IJN. cool

Thank you "the cherished one". wink cheesy grin
...and I wish you even more!

On WEMA... I think there's no confusion though.
Like I said before;
It will be best for a prospective investor to wait on the sideline and seek to align post the conclusion of both exercise to better tap into VALUE!
Your entry peg though will be KEY.
We already have a guide.

For those already in, they can see my previous post to get a clue of how best to follow through with this.
Everything will depend on ones PERSONALITY and INVESTMENT HORIZON.

Good morning guy! I’ve been following this thread for a while now as a guest and I must commend you all for keeping this section alive and also keeping us informed about the markets. I want to buy Nigerian stocks for the longterm but I really don’t know the best online broker. I’ve signed up on wealth.Ng but I’m still a little skeptical. Please I need a little guidance on this area…which is your best broker? And how can I watch the market trade live?
There are quite some good brokers with Digital portal whereby you trade by yourself and watch live trades.

I'll recommend Morgan Capital Securities.
That's the broker I'm using with excellent services.
You may revert if you needed additional info on them.

Abacus money market fund as the name implies is a MMF.

Principal underlying asset is treasury bills and commercial papers hence there is little or no risk at all. You can only lose money if the country no longer exist.

The interest is daily valued. 7.70% as at yesterday. Interest can't be fixed because of market forces on Tbills but be rest assured there will always be interest and your capital is guaranteed.

If you are conservative with low risk apatite then Abacus mmf is best for you.

You earn interest daily but it's paid every quarter on the first day of the next quarter ie Jan 1st, April 1st, July 1st, Oct. 1st. You can also give instruction for your interest to be reinvested (compounding) which will be done automatically on those days as mentioned earlier. The one for last quarter 2021 was done 1st of January 2022.

Your capital and interest is guaranteed.

minimum holding period is 30days and initial deposit from 1,000.

Parties to the fund:

Fund manager - investment one
Trustees: United capital trustees ltd.
custodian: citibank
regulator: SEC

You can do everything online- and monitor your .

Depositing money is not restricted it can be any amount from 1,000 and at any interval without a specific pattern.

Whenever you invest in the fund, your interest is prorated to cover the period of your investment before the payment date.
That means if you and invest say 5th January 2022 you will be paid interest for 5th to 31st of March for that period and continues till another payment date.

Market Maker has been appointed and authorized to do some repurchasing on behalf of the Coy.

Risk takers who can be smart enough to JIJO MAY benefit......and if the odds falls in his/her disfavour, it's all risk taking.

Those who have it might decide to leave it and see to the end of the process, who knows, it may favour them......or not.
