Good evening all. Sorry just got back from work hence this late question I’m seeking an answer to.

So my recently acquired MB C320 just arrived my doorsteps (from lagos to Enugu). About 12hrs, it was on the road. Here are the errors I noticed and I’ll to be told how to handle it

1. ABS malfunction. Visit workshop
2.SRS . Restraint system service
3. ESP malfunction. Visit workshop
4. Service A exceeded by 446 days
5. Battery Alternator. Visit workshop

It also shows on the dashboard check engine as seen on attached

Kindly assist give me an insight on these before I go to a kazeem

2. For SRS scanner will reset and clear it.
3. Esp turn steering left and right complete to the extreme, should clear it
4.service A, enter menu to where service A is then press reset button and hold for 3sec it will clear it. Service A is normal engine oil change.
5. Battery alternator . Engine Purley v belt might b cut or removed from position.
I experienced all this with my C240 2005 4matic

The main issues are
Alternator
Service your car



Others you can get used to they aren't major problems ....SRS has to do with your airbag...it might need servicing when you have time

From oil to brakes to a whole lot of things are bad in that car ...the engine might knock

The conversion according to the dealer yesterday was done in Europe b4 the car was shipped into Nigeria.

The dearler is a 3rd party and according to him the real owner who lives abroad did everything over there b4 shipping.

Very easy

1. Wiper direction
2. Gear selection
3. Roof handle
4. Turn the steering very well
5. Brake pedals and accelerators

It's quiet normal for all lights to come up in dash of all cars when ignition is turned on and go off when you fully start the car. Nothing abnormal about that.

What is abnormal is the lights being static which is there ....so it's abnormal

Any of the fault can cause the check engine light to come on, if all the fault are cleared and the check engine light is still there, then u need to scan the car

Did you read where he said the lights only appear when ignition is turned on and disappear when the key is turned to start position? Do you even own a car?

My car is a 2010 Mercedes benz w204 avant-garde.

The below usually happens when I am about to park my car.

My auto transmission gear most of the time is very hard to bring back to R coming from D. It is like getting stuck for a while in neutral and I will finally be able to shift after few minutes of waiting. Sometimes it feels like I could brake something inside if I force to change the gear.

But once the gear was successfully in, then it will all of a sudden very smooth to change gears from anywhere I want to. Weird part is It only happens when the vehicle was fresh from being driven and was about to be parked. Gear for some reason is getting stuck in neutral for a few minutes. Any idea? Thank you all

NB: if I fire on the car while in D it will be ok oo but once I apply brake it becomes really shaky but engine doesn’t go off. In my pathfinder suv, normally there’s a way to high the engine but I can see such here. Kindly suggest to me what to do

Now, My Es350 starts making a wobbly and cyclical (like a flat tire, like in mooooossseeee) is the best that I can describe it, noise at around 60km/h, .. I cant really hear the noise at lower speeds.... Any suggestions as to what it could be ?

scan to ensure there is no brake switch fault. fault is most likely you gear selector.

check your engine and gear seats as suggested.
if found ok
then scan the vehicle.
alot of things can cause the vehicle to shake when put in drive but the easiest could be a dirty throttle body causing restriction to airflow at idle or you have a weak spark (coil or spark plug).
to avoid throwing parts, pls start with scanning the ECU to see if there are any fault codes stored.

Actually, it is that thing underneath the car, that's meant to cover the engine underneath, that became lose. So as it's mouth is opened, air was rushing in, causing the noise at higher speed....Now tightened back and the ride is 100% silent at any speed

But nevertheless, those in lexus thread no even send 1 reply to the post as expected. Make I just dey here jejely

it was the gear shifter , no brake switch fault.
