It's like a number if you dial *#04# it's gonna bring it out
That number could be used to track you anywhere u are if I'm not mistaken

I guess u bought the phone hand to hand grin

So if you re using that phone for runs and shitt I'll suggest u sell the phone asap grin grin

I'm still prone to corrections though cool

On the underlisted, will formatting the phone stops an already hacked phone?
Thank you

Privacy in Nigeria is one of the worst in the world.

Any agency can call your ISP and quote cyber terrorism laws just to retrieve and monitor you. To make matters worse, no sanctions are in place for people who use crooked means to harvest your data.

To reduce these, do at least the following:
*assume everyone can see everything on your phone
*dont buy phones from easybuy. If you do, try and format it after making all payments.
*dont borrow from those chinese loan apps. If you have done, assume everything about you is in plenty unsecured computers both in Nigeria and china. Everything.
*use DuckDuckGo for search and Tor for those websites you dont want linked to you.
*avoid phones with bloatware as much as possible. Disable those apps that you cant delete.
*review app permissions and modify accordingly
*dont just any app you see. Any app you dont use at least once a month is possibly redundant
*dont click links you see on porn sites.
*treat every website trying to divert you to another website as a suspect.
*every website you visit has a tendency to track you. Clear cookies as often as possible. Use a privacy focused browser.
*Google and Facebook are not your friends.

These are just a few basics. You can research more on privacy online.

I recently saw a message on my phone when I scroll my menu down, I have not been seeing it there before.

Message reads 'network maybe monitored' and I open message further, it reads "A security authority is installed on this device, your secure traffic may be monitored or modified"
Yes you're monitored but from China.

How could this IMEI number be used to track a stolen phone?
onegig(m): 8:51am On Sep 20, 2021
Do you work in any organization that uses Mobile email?

That's intune android app. if you bought the phone second hand. Probably they didn't remove the Mobile Management from the device.

So you want to blame Nigeria again, ask the man to turn off VPN or any proxy settings he may have done on his phone.

I once noticed same on my phone too some months ago.
It didn't even take me 10 seconds to format the device.
Who and what should now be monitoring me…

Backup your files.
Format the device.

Maybe monitoring spirits or familiar spirits.

I experienced same a week ago, never had such before but out of curiosity I did my research and I was able to find out that it was an installed app on my phone, although I deleted the app but the certificate was already hidden in my phone as such it started consuming my data.if I have 2gb in less than 30mins even without watching videos I will receive a message that my data has been exausted.here is what you should do.gobto your phone settings click on security, then clicking on Advance You will see trustedcredentials and credentials, click on the credentials and uninstall it,that is the certificate from the app that is monitoring your phone network and data,do not format your phone

The funny one is while having a discussion on a particular topic or item only to start seeing the advert for that thing when next you visit YouTube

It means there's a firewall on your phone that is monitoring internet usage or bandwidth usage. No cause for alarm

Guy you don install one illegal app.. you phone is been hacked and monitored, the best thing you could do is to notice the app you installed illegal.. i mean the one you installed not from play store.. then uninstall it and reboot your phone.. boom problem solved..

A complete factory reset should remove all OS based malware.

Eye care is meant to reduced the display appearance of your phone to the coolest one.. this would enable you to shuffleboard well in the evening.
Also, don't be panic about the trusted certificate... It's a secure certificate for your phone....
