Go and do affidavit of same name stating that you are the owner of the new (non-compound) name and the current (compound) name Then go and do change of name at NIMC.

Or you can go and do change of name, then do newspaper publishing then change it in NIMC.

Go back and read previous thread. Also for now, avoid IKOYI. ALAUSA is highly recommended for now.

The system is broken. I saw how they marked files of people who paid to them. I was pained to pay such an exorbitant price....... I guess it's my fault. I'd have followed the DIY process, but I needed it urgently for scholarship applications.

oh, okay. Thanks for the response, i live in Ota so its not that far (about an hour journey so i heard). Were you sent an SMS to come pick up when it was ready or you went there without getting the message.

port was issued on August 5th.....exactly 7 weeks after registration & capture.
I picked up today.
Ikoyi Command.
Wasn't DIY.

Correction of data (change of name, correction of name, and change of DOB) can only be done in Abuja. I know this because my wife recently changed her name on her international port.

Whether the process can be done in other states, I don’t know, but I’m sure they will still have to forward the application to Abuja for approval.

About a week. Some got it same day/ next day but depends on your money and who your person there is

E-port is d same you see normal pple carrying in their wen dey wan travel abroad.Diy is better if u go to Alausa there service is fast and reliable

So guys i have an issue at hand , I found out that my old BVn details was used to my Nin , and the old wrong date of birth was used , and i want to renew my port now .. Can i use the same NIN with the wrong DOB for my renewal ..

I was told at Immigration office, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State that I have to pay N45,000 to process my international port acquisition. Considering the lower prices of N17,000 to N26,000 I've seen so far in this thread, is that price genuine? Your response would be helpful. Thank you.
