To avoid custom issues or crazy duty, I'll suggest you buy from Alibaba and use third party shippers. Custom fees are often crazy (dependent on type of phone ordered). Nigerian custom have a h@rdon when they see Apple devices. Have had a friend pay ₦71k in duty when he bought a MacBook and iPhone 11 from the US.

I've bought Xiaomi from China with no custom issues. But buying without third party shipping is often taking a risk as you may very likely pay exorbitant duty.

Did the link specify that it is MFI certified? You should also buy more of known brands to avoid heartaches even though they are more expensive.

Also make sure to check reviews to see what people are saying about the products and make sure they have a lot of orders satisfied.

For example there's very little chance that someone like this is selling substandard goods.

You can also chat with the seller to reduce the price so that you can pay twice. I order a tablet with a price of more than $100, so I chatted with the seller to reduce the price which he did. I order for the tablet twice with the reduced price until I was able to complete it. I then choose 31st of July and 1st of August to pay. I made half payment by 11pm, July 31st then complete the payment by past 12 am, August 1st. The other method is to have more than one credit card by borrowing more or any way you can get them. Once the seller reduces the price, then you can place multiple order with the cards. I have to go this way because of the conditions attached to opening a domiciliary considering that, before I place an order for something like that again, it may take time. So why going through the issue of opening a domiciliary and pay maintenance fee later.

Used products are sourced from a lot of countries. But often it is better if you have an inside man inside those countries. Eg China, Dubai, the USA, etc all have loads of used electronics for sale such as laptops and phones.

You need the inside man to the fairly used item is as described by seller before you'll end up with a worthless beautifully packaged electronic.

Shenzhen is a great place to get a bargain on fairly used or refurbished electronics. For items such as toys, jewelries, garments, accessories, etc check out the Yiwu city in China.

Sites such as Alibaba, 1688, etc are great. But you will get it cheaper if you have a plug right in these cities or you visit the city yourself.
Getting your package via post is not hard. Just fill your address correctly in the space for address with the correct zip code (you can google this for your location). The logistics will ship to the nearest post office and you'll be notified via phone call or text to pick up your item.

Have also gotten my package under 18 days, also an order I placed on the 29th of last month has left country of origin. But when I tried to place an order on the 5th of this month, that was when I saw the changes. Instead of the normal 20-35 days for estimated delivery it has increased to 45 days.

I saw it too, I don't know maybe it's a glitch or the new time frame.

I got an item today, took 10 days from China. Was dispatched on 27th, arrived 2 days ago, dispatch rider called this morning.
