Good day guys! I just bought Hellobox 8 decoder this week.

Apart from being able to watch satellite channels on mobile phones, what other things can I do with this decoder? How do I maximize the features of this decoder?

Most stations are guilty of that, is it mbc channels? It is Fta, at least better than just watching lagos tv on Gotv when your subscription expires

Good morning guru's in the house, please help a sister, I'm a newbie. My setup lost signal after a windy and rainy night. But I just noticed one satellite is back up. Please what do I adjust outside, dish position or lnb? These are the satellites on my setup from my decoder: Badr 4/5/6, Hotbird, Turksat 42E, Ku_Azerspace 1/A.

Ku_Azerspace1/A has signal quality of 51% presently and the others are 0%.

You might wonder why I didn't call the installer, he said I'll have to pay him 6k if he comes without guarantee that I won't have issues. So with each visit, I'll have to pay 6k. Not in this economy. I better learn it myself.

I just detected it’s mytv gimmick to block access on Srt 497s .I updated to their latest 2021 firmware version recently and Tara and others weren’t showing again. I just downgraded to 2020 old firmware , rescanned and they started showing.so pls guys do not update your 497s using their latest 2021 official firmware

I just downgraded to 2020 old firmware , rescanned and they started showing.so pls guys do not update your 497s using their latest 2021 official firmware

Please help, I purchased SRT 497s last Saturday. I fixed the cables according to the manual and mounted the dish.
I used DSTV dish 60cm and STRONG universal LNB.
But the problem now is that:

THE SIGNAL INTENSITY = 60
THE SIGNAL QUALITY = 0
I tried different locations but still the same.

Where did I go wrong?

but I am following the instructions on this thread for FTA installation.
