Overconfidence killed me in forex early on but I learned through time that you should not take your success in forex for granted. I made over $250 in less than 24 hours trading forex and i became too confident, I lost everything afterwards. I've learned through time that the best thing you can do in forex is to not burn your equity, have the idea about any market that you want to trade through candlesticks analysis, indicators and some currency strength pairing, once the market movement invalidates your trade setup, find the opportunity to exit the market as soon as possible, do not stay too long on a losing trade, there is always time for you to re-enter the trade once the market movement has come to the area of value, if you continue to burn your equity, it will dampen your morale and you will find it difficult to even enter a winning trade. Forex is hard, I must say this, but you can build a small fortune from this business by being vigilant of market opportunities especially at the time of high volatility.

Talking about salary ...I have noticed how people jump up for joy wen dey are offered a job that pays them 100k monthly but they frown when they are told they can make up to half a million or more with their smartphone in the forex market. Why do you think most forex brokers have offshore firms for clients from helpless African and Asian countries? Why can't they offer the same ASIC, FCA, or CySEC regulation to s from Africa and Asia?

I'm a forex enthusiast and planning to go big, but I'm still skeptical about the whole system. All the brokers I tried couldn't put me under their main firm that falls under the jurisdiction of a tier-1 regulator like the ones mentioned above.
