Please how can I find files I moved to the "safe folder" - can't see any files in it anymore?

I'm surprised as well. I've been using my A7pro and no such thing happened. most of these people complaining must have tampered with some important stuff on the phone. the worst part is many people don't even update the phone software and install Google play system updates. I monitor the updates regularly because updates are meant to fix certain issues in phone software

As a true fan, I am not bas mouthing the product, the phone was in my pocket during a physical exercise I sweat and I think the moisture got to it the next thing I noticed phone was blinking and off it goes.and never came back on.
Sweat no enter the phone o.

I repaired a guy's a7 pro last year...the lcd went blank.....

He was on facebook bouthing the brand.... advising people against it.

So I told the guy to come to my house since I have the screen for sale and his distance ain't far.........he came and behold, there was sand in the charging port, I asked him how, he said he went to beach and small water spilled inside.

If I be umidigi agent,I will arrest him immediately , I changed the screen and cleaned the , told him to delete everything he posted on the umidigi page,it's not fair.

There is one with me here, naso the owner bouth until he later confessed that he hard bricked the phone while trying to put custom rom......but he don bouth the brand tire....

I am not saying the phone can't go off but not like the way people are saying it......some are caused by we s but we won't say it out.....

I have a dead dell laptop here that went off for no reason while using it , now I need to get a new motherboard or just sell it off as scrap....Will I say dell is a useless brand?

If you can open it and heat the and charging port....

A single drop of sweat is like a salty water.....it can destroy any electronic components....

Give it to an engineer to dry and check it....

please I want to confirm something. if Umidigi A7pro get damage bricked. does it affect the battery or screen?

That's happens to phones if it makes with wet clothing especially sweat. Go Dip am inside raw rice for a couple of days firstly. Ensure the rice cover it.

I finally solved the screen freezing and malfunctioning on Umidigi A5 pro.

I initially took it to a repairer on Monday, I told him " I want to remove the front glass and glue it back". He said if he opens the phone, he might break something that I should keep managing it like that, I should order for the screen and give him to fix a new one. I left there because my screen is still good as new. Not yet broken.

Last night, I used a razor blade, the blunt edge to pull the screen a little bit up starting from the bottom at those lining to the top. I couldn't pull it so much up because it is attached to the at the back. I was careful when I got to the top left side, cox that's where the screen flex is, if it's cut the screen will go blank.

After slightly pulling all sides up, I noticed there was no freezing or malfunctioning whatsoever. I thought of to keep using it like that but it was a little ugly at the bottom, the screen lights were shinning out.

The next day, I took it to a repairer, I told him I wanted to use his phone glue. I pulled each side up using the blunt edge of the razor while he was applying the gum. I did it around all sides. He used a rubber band to tighten the screen, left it for 15min and cleaned the glue off using a chemical. I gave him #200.
I got home and cleaned it properly using à detergent and sponge. The screen looked new, Lol.

Now no more freezing or touch malfunctioning.

If you still love your phone, you don't wanna sell it because of how good it is and you're up for it, then you can try it out.

By the way, I'm on Android 11 with January security patch
