DriveByKiller: What you forget is that, they too are elected officials. |

ufotunang: Open your mind to learn. Constitution is very supreme. But, everything was not binded to Constitution alone. People of a culture designed the Constitution, and the culture was made superior than the Constitution. The subject of Constitution is only for the abuse of power, not for crime, or other related offences.. |

ufotunang: You can just had to your knowledge. Not only to the lawmakers, even extended to the judiciary. Except for the executive heads that used to made public and very common. It's different entity with distinct functions but shared almost thesame privileges. |

DriveByKiller: It's not termed immunity.. The clause is termed parliamentary privilege. |

DriveByKiller: First, Ike Ekweremadu was never the president of the senate. He was the deputy to the senate president. Secondly, prosecution and his jail term was after he left senate. |

ufotunang: Then, you should tell us too, where a sitting senator was once indicted or prosecuted before the court of law. |

You are right if it's in term of supremacy but when it comes to senate, senate rules are considered supreme, expecially if it has to do with in-house matters or affairs. That is why they didn't use the Nigeria constitution to suspend Natasha, eventhough they claimed to equal under Nigeria constitution. |

DJInfluence: Where is the proof? |

grandstar: Who told you that? How did you know about that? |
![]() |
DriveByKiller: Where did you read that? |

Trustyourself: Blantant lies. Forget Nigeria constitution. Senate standing rules and order is much more stronger than that. Senators are not under the oath to that. They have their rules considered stronger and much enshrined than Nigeria constitution. You can not file a lawsuit against a sitting Senator. |

tomju2: Blatant lie. |

michroskrve: He is right. You just have to be sure before you conclude. |

ufotunang: This is not true. |

Helpfromabove1: HE IS RIGHT. YOU CAN NOT INDICT A SITTING SEANATOR. |

patrickcollins: Yes, he's right. Parliamentarians do have some sorts of that, not termed immunity, but parliamentary privilege, even extended to the judiciary, as judiciary privilege. You should imagine, how people that will propose and enact laws that safeguard any of the executive heads wouldn't applied thesame to themselves first? So, it's just a different choice of clause. |

loffyloffy: Senator Nwaebonyi go just dey laugh now.. Na waiting him bin dey wait for all along. He want to carry attention come him side. Onyekachi no be mumu now, Natasha don do mistake again. Onyekachi Nwaebonyi sef na Barrister lols... Natasha no get sense at all. People wey they push am go soon leave am, maybe na even Obi Ezekwesili advice her, lols. She go cry blood tire. |

fergie001: Natasha didn't really no much about constitution and even senate rules now. That is why she's suspended, to go home take her time to study senate rules and learn their ethics. Ireti Kingibe said it, that she didn't know much about the rule of that floor, they have to put her through and through so that she can get it right. She is still, new to the floor... lols |

Thundafireseun: The damage they have done to Natasha as a name in this country, no be small. Anytime you heard Natasha as a name, you have to be very careful and do thorough findings. These people have just done damage to that name. |

valentineuwakwe: It's not "covering up".. It is " defending ". He's an eye witness, and the closest in between. He's the one standing in for him against any opened allegation that required his presence. Akpabio is matured, and he's handling the case with full maturity, even against his known enemies that are pushing Natasha. |

Uselesss entities... Awon mashanfani What gives them the headache now is Tinubu. They are busy strategising and manipulating on how to defeat Tinubu. Why not put thesame heads together and channel thesame energies to and push for a better Nigeria. Must it be about who rule? Or Must it matters where the power goes? Instead to use thesame energy and influence to better the lives of their communities, they are busy wasting their time and resources. That is how they will still get problem with whosoever that will comes within their coalition if eventually they even succeed. 4 Likes |

Nice one Justice Nyako.. If this woman have something tenable, she wouldn't have let this come this far... We could read alot from her emotion. If she's obviously have something concrete to nail Akpabio, she would/should have proof it, even Akpabio daring to do that to do the public.. Yet, there's never, or nothing like that and the whole thing keeps lingering like Nigeria economy solely dependent on it. We'll expect everything gradually phase off with time now and peace will be restored with time, if she's wouldn't defile or contempt court order too. Enough of this Natasha Apoti brouhahaha.. She's gotten the fame she wanted already. She's accomplished her mission. In yoruba land "he who cries while narrating an offence, he's to be suspected to cause a division". It is an adage. You don't need to go this far, even crying in public, to gain public trust. Solid evidences are all around you that you've known to be a serial blackmailer, but no single evidence, not even an ounce of it, to proof everything wrong. That is bad. |

This Abbo or wetin be him name no get sense. No be Akpabio orchestrated natasha suspension, it was Senator Mungunro. And the senate majority suspended her, not for harassment but for gross misconduct. Akpabio only affirm, what the house resolution was. That is all. Wawa!

plouchea24: So therefore, even with all the allegations levelled against him. He's never move or shake him one bit. And even the NATASHA, have no solid evidence to tender as proof for her allegations. I am a man, and I know how easily a woman can make a man fall a victim if she want to. Either through WhatsApp texts.. to screenshot or tease him to send Voice note or do video.. But, NATASHA have none. 2 Likes |

owobokiri: Lols... I will refer you to the back page of Babangida's newly released book "A JOURNEY IN SERVICE" termed "APPENDIX". IBB detailed the full NEC official results of the June 12, 1993 elections there. Abiola is immortalised because he was brave and fought the good fight for Democracy even to the last breath in his body. He knew he won the election, it was evident, he won, and he was brave enough to parade himself as president. He chosed to substitute or laid his life down for the birth of Democracy. He could have chose to be a coward too, he could have remain silent with the death threat. Nwosu didn't deserve to be posthumously award such a national honour because he didn't complete his assignment. |

owobokiri: ALWAYS LEARN TO READ IN BETWEEN THE LINES... "HISTORY DON’T REWARD EFFORT, HISTORY ONLY REWARD RESULT". It would've been better for him to have declare the result and face the consequences like imprisonment as Abiola did.. Rather than acted coward. He could have acted brave, even without declaring the result, by making a positive statement, and resign his position instead of acted coward even to his death. 1 Like |
