That's rich coming from you who worships at a church were mamon is worshipped. The verse above you quoted warning against love of money was directed to preachers (like oyaks) who use the gospel too make money.

Whilst personally I don't indulge in gambling or encourage it, it would be wrong of me or anyone for that matter to preach it's a sin because there is no were in scripture it's implied or stated so. Labelling it a sin is in itself adding to scriptures and that is clearly a sin.

I am not aware of anywhere in scripture that states gambling is a sin neither have I come across any scripture that says christians ought to tithe

The tithe doctrine is not a christian doctrine but a Jewish one which was twisted then mis applied to the church. Christians are not meant to tithe.

The tithe doctrine remains the biggest fraud in the history of mankind and we must not rest on our oars until this fraud is expunged from the church.

CAR RUNNING "RICH" OR "LEAN" MEANS TOO MUCH OR INSUFFICIENT FUEL SUPPLY

Most vehicles today run on gasoline or diesel fuel. To make the vehicle move and work properly, an exact amount of air must be mixed with the proper amount of fuel burned in an engine.

The "perfect" fuel air mix is called a "stoichiometric fuel ratio". This is 14.7:1, 14.7 parts air to 1 part fuel. In reality most engines rarely achieve this ratio: they run a bit richer most of the time. An engine runs especially rich when accelerating, when cold, or when under a load.

If there is too much fuel and not enough air, the engine is said to be "running rich", or "has a rich mixture". It will have a gassy or rotten egg smell from the exhaust, give off a burning effect to the eyes and will make black smoke. If there is too much air and not enough fuel, the engine is said to be "running lean", or "has a lean mixture".

On modern computer controlled engines, this will cause the computer to turn on an amber check engine light which will give a trouble code of "system too rich" or "system too lean".

Either condition will result in poor fuel mileage or possible engine damage.

A rich mixture will cause the vehicle to run hot. It will cause a clogging up of the catalyst resulting in the degradation of the honeycomb in it.

If your car is running too lean, it could result in jerking.

There is not one single scripture in the whole bible asking or requiring christians to tithe. The popular malachi 3:10 used to preach tithes in churches was not directed to christians but to jews as christians are not under the jewish laws. That aside it's twisted before applying it to the church.
Read deuteronomy 14:22-29 to know more about biblical tithing.

However if you really want to know the truth about tithes, read deuteronomy 14:22-29 and ask the pastor why churches don't preach tithes as instructed there. Also read hebrews 7:5-19, here the tithe law was anulled and described as a weak, useless and unprofitable law.

Yes the tithe doctrine was a jewish command strictly for the children of Israel. The command to tithe was never carried over to the new testament church. Like all other old testament laws, it is not binding on christians. Christians are under grace and not law. That aside biblical tithes was not money, it was agric produce. Preaching tithes of money is adding to God's word and it is a sin to add to God's word.
