Most of the DISCOS are corrupt, they used to reject load from GENCOS in the past, forcing GENCOS to spend money again to store power. All what DISCOS know is just to collect money from customers but not upgrade their equipment, The main reason they dont pick is their degraded equipments cannot carry loads and they will still give people estimated bills for unsupplied load, even to pay GENCOS sometime hard.

One reason why DISCOS reject power from gencos is the fact that if they accept too much power, they would have to pay the gencos more money than they have at the moment.

DISCOS also pay TCN for using transmission system to get power.

Hence the importance of cost reflective tarrifs.

DISCOS doesn't generate electricity, they only distribute what GENCOS generate for them.

My POF has been ready since April, until the naira was floated and then it was no longer enough. So I needed to pay £5,000 extra tuition for my POF to be enough. I paid the £5,000 last week Wednesday and my CAS came out last week Friday.

So the £5,000 didn't reflect on my CAS.. But the school has given me an official receipt of all the payments I have made, including the £5,000. I have sent a mail to the school for ammendment.

Given that it took me almost 6 weeks to get my CAS, should I wait for the school to update my CAS, or can I go ahead and apply for visa by simply ing my payment receipts? NB: I've paid £13,000 out of my £14,000 tuition. Would love to hear from you guys.

To be sincere, the chance of securing COS from Nigeria is very slim. Care sector is becoming saturated in the UK. There are thousands of international students with care experience already in the system seeking COS. They will prefer employing them before looking outside. Most people that get COS from Nigeria did in a way we all know.

You married to the agency or employer that bring you to the UK, once they discover you don't work for them, you have already breached the conditions of your stay. The indefinite stay will be refused and removal order will be issued straight. Though you are allowed to transfer to another employer who will issue their own COS, without that, is a contravention oooo.

There are care agencies that will give him more than 20hrs and is allowed to do more than 20hrs additional jobs as long as the job is in the same health care. The basic documents for health care visa are COS, TB certificate, police report, proof of maintenance if not ticked by employer and IELTS or Ecctis evaluation.

They don't need degree or HND to apply for care work as long as the person can ielts and get COS, no need for any certificate. I have assisted someone with only secondary Waec to get health care visa before.

While in the UK, the person can apply as a care worker, but from outside UK, I do not think it's possible, I was in same shoe, my wife couldn't be the MA because she has just NCE, so I had to shoulder it, knowing fully well that within 1 year I can write some exams to get my license as a certified solar energy expert, then switch to my main profession by securing a new COS, not minding the 12m already paid now. It's the cost of greatness afterall

It depends on the one your employer chooses 3 or 5 years.

The visa form will ask you the COS number of years and you can't lie, once you pick 5, then it will automatically ask you to pay for 5 years.

The hotel is a bit far from my house and I spend an average of N600 on transportation daily and the salary is 45k per month. Right now I'm fed up with the job.

You can do police report online now, https://possap.gov.ng/p/. Once you complete the form and pay 30k, you will select the nearest place for capturing and just the certificate after 24 hours.

I am telling you with 100% assurance and with the knowledge of the Immigration acts, Dependants don't need it to apply for the visa, PCC is use for care worker because they work with vulnerable people. But if the Dependant get overthere and decide to work as a carer, he or she will apply for DBS.
