BlackManta:You might be a little bit hard on her tbh....she is not the first actress to use sex appeal as an advantage in the industry, neither will she be the last.... Who do you think are the main consumers of Onlyfans? what do you think makes gimmicks like this still sell?, who do you think will actually buy this soap? Please let her sell her market abeg. |

Common Side Effects" S1 (2025) "You're a medicine salesman , cure everybody, and you're out of business!" In times like these, when it's rare to find shows that reach beyond the surface and tap into something deeper than life itself, I stumbled upon this rare gem. A hipster discovers some rare mushrooms with seemingly miraculous healing abilities, capable of curing every disease known to man. His mission? To share it freely with the world. But of course, not without consequences... It was such an easy binge, one that left me yearning for more. The show throws up a host of moral dilemmas that made it hard to take a firm stance. On one hand, discovering a universal cure might be the noblest act since the evolution of our species. But on the other hand, the chaos it could unleash in our already hyper-capitalist world is unimaginable. Big Pharma would likely seize control, pricing it beyond the reach of the downtrodden , literally weaponizing life itself. Struggle, mortality, and vulnerability are part of what shapes the human condition. Removing all suffering could flatten our experience entirely. Would people still be motivated to live healthy lifestyles if they knew a miracle cure existed? While it seems like an incredible solution on the surface, it could break the very fabric of biology, society, and ethics. I love shows like this, ones that make me think. And to think, I had it sitting on my device for months. An easy, easy recommendation. Top shelf show, tbh. 8/10 2 Likes |

joseph1832: A beautifully shot movie, i would give it that, every frame was louvre worthy, and those IMAX cameras did wonders. But maan, at the core of a good movie, is a good story, and this sadly tried to cramp so many stories, without success, and eventually landing no where. I was genuinely fed up by the third act. The film didn't know whether to take a serious tone, or a comedic one. I don't even know what genre this movie falls, under, was it a musical? can't really any memorable track tbh? was it a horror flick? If that's what Ryan was going for, than it will be parody horror at best, because of the silly jokes they were cracking. Was it a racially charged drama?, they served a very little emotional back story, to be properly vested in this plot line. They had me thinking Hailee Steinfeld was the poster girl for the flick? Meanwhile this babe was on screen for like 5 minutes,😭 The only good take away is, how beautifully shot it was , and that's the only reason, i may want to see it again. |

DieRich5:100% spot on with this take 👀👍🏿. I when "Black Panther" (2018) came out and Black folks were going to cinemas wearing trad, and hyping the movie to the highest heavens, because it was supposedly the first "black superhero movie" on a major slate, only for me to actually see it, and see that it was just your normal run on the mill flick, that has enjoyed a magnanimous hype, that the film, in reality, came nowhere to matching. That is the exact same feeling i had, after seeing this...and in a funny irony, both movies were made by the same film maker. Now on a good day, was this a good movie? Yes, but boy the things they have said about this movie for the past 2 months or so, i genuinely struggled to see tbh... A glorified "From Dusk till Dawn" (1996), with a little racial war on the side, was all it was...and the replay value for me at the very least, is at it's lowest ebb. 5 Likes 1 Share |

tobore4u: For movies that deal with the disappearance of a child and an ensuing search...check out the following Prisoners (2013) Wind River (2017) The Black Phone (2021) Fractured (2019) My Son (2021) Mystic River (2007) Three Days and a life (2019). This is a Belgian film, but if you can find it, it is very good in the subject matter. For outright time loop films Edge of Tomorrow (2014) Source Code (2011) Happy Death Day (2017) Looper (2012) Predestination (2014) ARQ (2016) Enjoy! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Illusioneffect: Your self proclaimed hyper fanaticism with the Harry Potter lore has probably blinded you from discerning your fantasies from logic, ever since this show was announced, to a damn near annoying condescending level tbh. It's not like you have the screenwriter on speed dial or have a PhD in scriptwriting...you are just in the dark, as we all are, concerning what they are gonna do with the characters. It's not like they haven't changed traits of major characters in adaptations before and considering the times we are in, all bets are off the table. You have such a high hopes for the prod team, when one of the writers openly claimed, he wasn't arsed to read the books! Not saying you shouldn't be bubbly about one of your favourite franchises as you claim, but still open your eyes to logic and the signs of the times. 9 Likes |

tobore4u:Good movie, but 9.5 is quite high o. A similar plot to "Dark" , so the whole thing looked like a cheap rip off... but there was some strong acting in there and good twists. |

Palehair:"You don't have faith in this one as the creator has said they didn't read the books as you have said but i should get off my high horse because i called it an obvious money grabbing scheme which your 2nd paragraph has alluded to? maaannn 🤦🏿♂️. A capitalistic world now, but it doesn't mean there aren't those of us, who how good we used to have it. A business is typically an exchange of quality product/services in exchange for profit, but it seems this movie execs are only interested in the later, and there are people like you, ready to just lap it up. Well my fingers aren't crossed for anything, as i can totally smell the BS, but good for you, that yours is crossed tho, and by all means, have at it 👍🏿 2 Likes |

BlackManta:8 years ke?? So basically, this is the movie, just retold for modern audiences??! cuz am still failing to see the point of this show. The movie more than did justice to the source material imo. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, this all looks like a money grabbing scheme without care for quality or substance 🤷🏿♂️ 7 Likes 1 Share |

Holav:*4/10. The is show was gutter quality. The first few episodes were ok, but they just veered off, and started mixing plots from other shows and movies diluted with unwanted melodrama with the hopes of getting a S2...and they even tried a last minute hail mary shock value, with one nonsense reveal by the end, but i wasn't moved, as i had already caught on to their BS by then. Proper dustbin show 🗑️ 1 Like |

abduleez1:Ultimately the viewership of S3 was far below the cost of financing the show and Prime Video simply wasn't having it anymore. Fantasy shows are always touch and go, because of the sheer cost, VFX, locations, props and all that goes into making them, the show has to prove it is worth it, and prove it fast!, unfortunately, WOT ran out of time. Every studio has been chasing their next "GOT" without success. It is so hard replicating it, due to the huge financial obligation involved, and these execs are basically just throwing huge amounts of money into fantasy projects and rolling the dice. Funny enough, even "the great GOT", was one time considered "high financial risk", by HBO, immediately after 51, before it's popularity just blew off, and they just rode on the wave and had a massive payday, even that, they started making some cost saving decisions as the seasons rolled by, like topping off the Direwolves, cuz they simply couldn't manage the budget of animating them and the dragons at the same time. Point is, Fantasy shows takes alot of effort to make, and the show has to justify that effort a million fold. WOT even tried sef, getting S3. As you pointed out, ROP might likely face the same faith. ⌛ |

joseph1832:For which, Andor or Rogue One? and No, not really. Andor focused mainly on politics, espionage and the ground formation of the Rebellion alliance and deliberately avoided the Jedi/Sith plot lines, which would have necessitated a light saber duel However in Rogue One (2016) , Darth Vader did briefly ignite his light saber in one hallway scene, and i wouldn't particularly call that a duel, Bro simply just massacred every one on site 😩. Both Andor and Rogue One, tho recent, serves as a prequel to the first film, A New Hope (1977), Rogue One Ends, Days before the Rebel Alliance hands, Princess Leia, the designs to the Death Star, which begins "A New Hope" (1977). |

TemporaryHansel:It's a prequel, and days after the end of this S2, the events of "Rogue One" (A Star Wars Story) (2016), began, with the character developments and plot continuation , that the show had already established, so logically, there can't be a S3, as the faith of Cassian Andor was even sealed, after "Rogue One". Sometimes and most importantly, as i have come to find out, shows that have completed their short intended stint, and just end, are most often than not, worthwhile, it's the ones that they keep elongating for no logic reason, that becomes terrible. 3 Likes |

The Pitt S1 (2025). A Cacophony of Suffering and Solace I wasn’t immediately sold on this, I thought it would be the usual trope of medical dramas: different cases per episode, with some interwoven outside drama involving the medical staff. But this one came with a twist, it focused solely on patient care and the ensuing emotional toll on the medical staff. At the heart is Dr. Robby, portrayed spectacularly by Noah Wyle. A veteran doctor haunted by past struggles that often plague medics. His performance was so good, striking a delicate balance between emotional detachment and personal vulnerability. The series distances itself from others in the genre through its auditory choices. There’s basically no score, no sombre music, only the beeping of monitors and the hurried footsteps of medical staff racing from bed to bed, trying to save lives. It was shot in a near single-shot style, with each of the 15 episodes representing one high-octane hour in the emergency room. All of this added to the immersive experience and realism of the show. Maann, I don’t envy doctors and other medics o. They have one of the toughest jobs on earth. They’re literally one good decision away from saving a life or one bad one from losing it. How do they even sleep? That’s why I wholly detest how they’re treated in this country. This is not a comfort show, it’s as real as it gets. And I loved it. HBO MAX (or whatever they’re called these days 🤭) totally cooked with this one! 8/10 5 Likes |

Andor S2 (2025). "Welcome to the Rebellion!." So many good things have been said about this show lately, and honestly, it’s still not enough to capture just how great it is. Set in its own little bubble within the StarWars universe far from the glow of lightsabers, the Skywalker family drama, the Jedi Order, and the mystery of the "Force", the oppressive weight of the Empire still looms large. S2 picks up right where S1 left off, following Cassian Andor further down the path of rebellion, with even more emotional consequences and psychological toll. I found it difficult to recommend S1 cuz i thought it was such a niche show, but seeing S2, anyone could totally sse this, even if you aren't even vested in the StarWars lore. It's a brutal slow burn, but as the episodes go, the pieces begin to make sense, and it reels you in, in the most magical way!. To think this all started as a spin-off of a spin-off, yet this season cements Andor as one of the finest pieces of lore in the entire Star Wars franchise. This is what Zack Snyder was going for with "Rebel Moon", albeit with gutter writing, it just goes to show, how good writing can elevate a show, i mean they had Beau Willimon in that writers room! For me, this is the best thing to come out of Lucasfilm’s dance with Disney. It even topples Mando at this point, imo. I’m not even sad it’s ending, I never expected we’d get a second season to begin with. It’s a perfect place to end, and I’m just grateful this show exists. Special.. Special...Show✨ ✨ 9/10 5 Likes |

Chibudollar:This is 100% rage bait. There haven't been any major releases in the last 2 months on so, that has required constant discussions here that will constitute as spoilers, except for TLOU S2 which is episode by episode release, and it is fairly on brand for people to talk about each new episode per week. Plus the "Spoiler warning thing" here is simply a courtesy, you can't actually police people not to talk about shows they use their data and time to see and like, on here, especially not with the kind of tone you are using. If spoilers get your feelings hurt, you might as well just crawl back and hibernate, cuz absolutely nobody owes you shît... 14 Likes 1 Share |
