Just made me recall when a competitor wanted to poach me, they made their offer and the thing that didn't sit well with me, was that they did not have a pension plan for staffs. I went on LinkedIn and found a former staff and sent him a message, asking about work culture, mangt style and office politics, total I got was not to bother accepting the offer. This was around 2021, and I was working remotely full-time as an ant, and this role was a bit of an hybrid.

I used their offer to negotiate a pay-rise and promotion at my then office. (Into renewables).

It's a year since I made this post about how i feel cheated by girl friend because she doesn't want me to travel with her to the US after she got a fully funded offer .
Well, after a year my girlfriend helped me secured an ission to a school in the USA even with my low grade. She tried her best with securing ission, searching for dates and even paying someone to help me with mock sessions.I didn't do anything, even mailing the school for i20 , paying my sevis fee and all that is needed she did everything including getting my transcripts from my undergraduate.
However, my visa was denied because I was nervous and couldn't defend my case very well.
I know i really messed up during the mock sessions, because whenever she corrects me i will just feel someone and tell her not to worry that i will handle it . When I came back from the interview, she was really angry when she asked me what transpired between me and the VO . Later she asked me to reapply but I have been adamant and I told her that her that I don't want to look desperate. The current problem now is that my girlfriend said she is no longer interested in the relationship and I feel that she is not breaking up with me because of the interview but I think she has gotten a new guy over there. This break up has been affecting me mentally and I have been unable to concentrate on my work.

The Lagos State government has introduced a new and cheaper means of transportation for residents ahead of the Christmas celebration.
The bus named “DapoCNG Bus” began its operation in Lagos on Monday, December 4th, 2023.

This is an Ogun State Government initiative, which is commendable.

I learnt lagos is doing a pilot phase with Electric BRTs.

Major take is that their should be a robust public transport scheme to aid movement as transport prices might see a hike.

You helped with your input around Dec last year and things got resolved.

But now I have an issue that's been persistent for a while.

My engine is leaking oil, my mechanic in lagos had the oil seal changed around May, but issue been persistent. Used a mechanic in Abk who is good with engine rebuilds (twice in abk) but issue persists.

He says its likely a part of the engine that has the issue, and only way to get it is by getting another engine or find an accidented vehicle that one can scrap from.

What can I genuinely do, as of now, I need to top up the oil once every week or 2 weeks (dependent on how long I drive)

Another thing is the engine was worked, and the oxygen sensors up and down part were welded shut.

It's a 2008 Camry, 4 plugs vvti engine
