JohnBullMySon: This has got to be the funniest of the lot. So u are saying a player accumulated 2 yellow cards and he's supposed to be suspended but FIFA conveniently "forgot" to notify the FA and as a result, FIFA will not apply the sanctions to the team that broke the rule? What do u call that? Aiding and abetting! Rules are rules and one thing y'all forgot is that if FIFA fails to sanction SA for this infraction, Nigeria, or any of the other countries, has the option of goin to CAS. |

elyte89: Yinmu. So the likes of Morocco and Turkey that got to the semis hv 2 heads abi? We should even be ashamed of ourselves. Imagine a country like Costa Rica always doing well at the world cup by regularly getting to the quarter finals but somehow that seems like rocket science to Nigeria. |

Woke football fans of this Era be demonizing players with dribbling abilities. They see players that can dribble as inefficient and ineffective yet ,dribbling is part of a player's creative abilities. That is how they hv demonized Ejuke as useless simply because he dribbles. Back to Okocha, not only does he dribble,, he had other special skills too in incredible measure. Short ✔️ Long ✔️ Set pieces ✔️ Vision ✔️ Long throw✔️ He's long throw led to our equalizer against Brazil at Atlanta. Shot power✔️ Shot accuracy✔️ Tackles✔️ Impact on a team✔️ He is almost a complete player even without the dribbles. 7 Likes 1 Share |

mekabuachi: Rules are rules doesn't matter if it's Infantino's home country. Imagine if Nigeria fields an over aged player in a youth tournament and the evidence is overwhelming, will it matter whether our opponents petitions or not before we are sanctioned? |

mekabuachi: Beg wetin? All those are just straws. Somebody already explained this is not a court case that needs a petition, once u break the rules the sanctions apply. |

In retrospect, the information about the South Africans' yellow card issues came too early. It allowed them not to play the culprit yesterday. How I wish the information had come out after yesterday's match, South Africa would hv lost six points due to carelessness ![]() |
![]() |
How did we suddenly lose our invincibility at home? Teams come to Nigeria now hoping to pick up points, the fear factor is gone. And no, this is not just about the Uyo stadium. We have tried Benin, Lagos and Abuja in the last couple of years and we have struggled. This WCQ campaign we hv lost 6 points at home against teams we have always been comfortable playing against. If we had gotten those 6 points, we would hv been top of the table by now with SA having 12 pts. How the tides hv turned. 1 Like |

Personally, I wasn't even watching out for Chelle's tactics in his first match but his man management skills. I wanted to see if he would be able to psyche the players up back to a winning as it was obvious the players are low on morale and seems to have lost their winning mentality. I think Chelle excelled in this aspect. 2 Likes 1 Share |

But why do u guys keep saying Rwanda will be defensive? They are t top of the group ( ok 2nd ATM) and they defeated us at home just a few weeks ago, that is enough motivation for them to go for a win. |
