Back in 2022 when my then landlord increased my rent from 700k to 1.5 million in F01 Kubwa, I pinched myself and said "No. I didn't come to this world to make money for another man." I got a land, and within 6 months, built a 3-bedroom bungalow and moved out of the man's house.
I know I would probably have felt comfortable living there if the man had not increased the rent - even though I have many lands to develop - but sometimes you need to sit down and ask yourself some hard questions and take some hard decisions.

I on AC for only 5mins and put it off when the room is cold, I do this like 7-10 times a day.
You actually consume more power this way. Appliances that use compressors, such as ACs and refrigerators/freezers consume more power to start up but once they start, consume less. So you are better off letting it run for one hour straight rather than 5 minutes x 10.
