Since I used one Xperia E1, any new phone I get, I install walkman on it. That's what I use for my music player, there are a lot out there, but walkman does it for me, it has everything I need.. and as for file managers, you can easily one of those, Dem plenty too.

I am going to try and be as objective as possible here!

I had a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 for about a year before it just gave up on me just like that. It was a great phone though while it lasted. One of the best I have ever used..and I have used an number of really good high-end and mid-range phones.
The sudden 'demise' of the Xiaomi necessitated an immediate replacement. I decided to buy local rather than order and then start waiting for Goodness knows how long.

I established a threshold and budget ceiling which was 50k and then started the search. To cut the story short I finally settled for the Nokia 3.
I daresay this is my worst experience with a mid-range phone ever. I was expecting that with the reviews that I had read backed by the brand precedence(even with the HMD intervention) I was cool. Little did I know that I was in for a big disappointment.

I am not willing to write it off completely as I have left some room for the possibility of my lack of tech savvy but I will highlight the drawbacks I have noticed here while expecting others to share their experiences.

1. The phone battery is wack. It barely lasts 5-6 hours on my very average use(i leave my data on permanently though). I have to charge regularly. With my Xiaomi, it would last a whole day no matter the use. I do understand difference in battery capacity but then this is just too poor. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

2. Some posters have already mentioned that the phone drags/lags. very true. The processor, indeed the entire system is so slow that throwing it at a wall in frustration is indeed sometimes an attractive option. I have done all the updates, I even added a 32GB memory card just to enhance the speed but for where? It is still as poor as ever. Sometimes the screen just freezes and refuses to respond. I have now taken off the screen guard but no difference.

These are the two most noticeable limitations on the phone. It does however have some strengths which are synonymous with the brand. The build quality is superbly solid.

May I add that I am yet to give up on the phone (Nokia brand). I am an ardent follower and fan of Nokia. I still have 2 nos of Nokia 730 as my home phones till date and guess what, apart from their cracked screens they are still working like new.I have always had a Nokia phone and I am even considering replacing or adding the Nokia 6plus to this one but I am afraid.... of wasting so much money.

Any advice please?

Go for the 7plus or Nokia 8.

It's today I started using Android na. It's also today I started ing apps and playing around with software.
God, I miss Tecno. I miss that my Camon CX those robbers stole.

The type of hanging i experience on this Nokia is world class.

Instead of releasing phones like Tecno, they should focus more on quality for cheap using the Xiaomi and Oppo models and actually take time out to position and their brand well
