FreeSpirited: I do not agree that the use of AI is plagiarism. AI is a tool, just like calculator, Autocad software, and others that aids learning and research. The African mind, regrettably is laced with hard life, "Suffer" that is the reason anything that tend to bring ease to humanity is rebuffed and criticized. Years back, to earn a University first class degree was a mirage but today the story has changed yet we condemn AI. 2 Likes |

ILoveNG: This is just my thought. The world is today driven by technology and we cannot be left behind because of baseless criticism as raised as in the case of AI. AI should be applauded for revolutionalising our educational and social sectors. In no distant time, I am optimistic that more innovations that encourage easy life will be launched. Today's world is digital and in a fast lane. The Asian technologies are confirming this. 2 Likes |

It has been observed that whenever there is a breach in election process, particularly, result transmission through collation to announcement of results, that is when the unimaginable happens. In 2023 general election, it was "transmission glitches". Now in Edo, it is "sinister shifting of collation venue to INEC office and abruptly stopping of collation process from midnight till 11am). Evil strike under the cover of obscurity. Democracy in deed! 1 Like |

politicoNG: It is shocking and so disheartening that Ex-Gov. Adams Oshiomole, at his age, descended so low and recklessly to make such unguided statement that Mrs Betsy Obaseki was childless. This is irrespective of whatever provocation. This statement bleeds the heart, mind, body and soul of every right thinking person. For this, heaven is unpleased because, the voice of the people is the voice of God. Two wrongs don't make a right. Oshiomole should have kept calm and ignored Betsy' statement that Monday Okpebholo was not married. Silence is golden. Now, his response may cause him more harm before men and God. |

This idea of 18years age limit for WAEC/NECO examinations is crazy and an outright nonsense particularly in this jet age. How on earth was this thought of let alone brought to public space? I am now, more than ever convinced that affairs of this country are ran from the beer parlour. First, it was reverting the national anthem to the old version. Secondly, setting 18years age limit for jamb and now it's WAEC/NECO exams. Who knows what next? These are retrogressive policies that will make this country a laughing stock in the committee of nations. When all efforts should be geared at reviving our ailing economy, more problems are now created. It is hard to think this 18year age limit for WAEC/NECO exam policy will succeed. |

Non sense! In as much as I do not indecent dressing, I honestly do not see anything wrong with Natasha's dressing. The house's action was merely to embarrass the poor lady. In any case, she could have wore dark glasses on the grounds of medical advice. Legislatures should be busy with their core mandate, please. |

TandT1968: This a very valid point. If it is not for the purpose of subjecting the process of result release to human interference for selfish and corrupt reasons, the examination result can automatically and immediately be released at the end of an examination. Why computerize examination process if results cannot be immediately released? 1 Like |

We take things for granted too much in this country. Ordinary "Life-Jacket" could have averted this calamity. The government should wake up in ensuring that basic safety precautions are observed in our daily lives through enforcement and public sensitisation jingles. May the souls of the departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace! (Modify) (Quote) (Report) (Share 1 Like |

NairaOcean: Rubish! A girlfriend NOT a wife and you have the guts to humiliate her this way. Do it to somebody else from an enlightened family, you will rot in jail. If you don't like her behaviour, simply part your ways. Can you imagine the incalculable damage done to her reputation by this video put in public space? Again, the lady is NOT your wife yet and such you do not have any right whatsoever to humiliate this way. This will be a good case for advocates of women's right to take up on pro bono to serve as deterrent to other men. |

oz4real83:"...mother's always feel they know best and have even seen the future..." You nailed it. From bible days, women have created more problems in relationships. See Adam and Eve, Samson and Delilah etc. Today, we see mothers in-law fighting daughters in-law. Many marriages have broken down because of the behaviors of women orchestrated by fake prophets and pastors. |

Frizz001: The house committee believed what they were told by the hospital Management. Whether the information is right or wrong is different kettle of fish. Actually, it isn't possible for five wards of a federal teaching hospital to shut down on of "japa". The hospital Management is only trying to weep public sentiment to enable them get FGN's approval to employ their family and friends into the system. Yes, some staff may have resigned their appointments lately but this cannot be enough to shut down even one ward in the hospital. All the propaganda being peddled are for political gains. |

Kobojunkiee:I am sorry, you missed the point. Family space should be respected. In any case, what is the guarantee that the one who is interfering knowns more than you. In Africa, we ascribe wisdom or knowledge to old age. My dear, knowledge/wisdom is not a function of age. Inasmuch as we bear the consequences of our action, we should be responsible for our decision and someone else by his/her unsolicited interference in the affairs of our homes. |

One of the greatest challenges of marriage is the unsolicited interferences of in-laws and friends in your private affairs. The truth is that, those that have failed in theirs will want to pull yours down in the pretence of helping you. The golden sermon in most marriage ceremonies is for couples to guide their marriages from external interferences. People are wicked and deceitful. |

Same WAEC that derailed a lot of people's destinies in the 90s. It has suddenly become a piece of cake. Nothing truly last forever not even our worries and the problems of Nigeria. This country will get better someday, it may not be in this generation. 3 Likes |

As a single, if you are finding it hard to survive with N150,000/month in Lagos, my sincere advice for you is that, please pack your load and go to your village. Many people, married and single live in Lagos with less than N150,000/month salary. To drive this point home better, how much do you think is a graduate starting pay in public service, talk less of private employee ![]() 1 Like |

leanonme82: Yes, this is good and applaudable. For me, I give my regards to candidates that score excellent grades in WAEC not UTME. The reason is that over the years, WAEC has held it integrity sacrosanct. It exams are all round test/evaluation unlike JAMB's that is only objective test. In cases of leakages, WAEC can still assess students on the basis of other factors but JAMB cannot. May I add that it is the reliability of JAMB exam results that now make Universities to do post UTME exam. WAEC results are useful throughout one's lifetime but JAMB for only a session. Overall best candidate in waec makes more sense to me than utme. Who else s this view? |

Oh in less than one month, BAT has hit the ground running. He is doing well. Buying of petrol is now so easy as there are no more long queues and dealers fixing prices arbitrary above normal. You no longer find traffic jam on the roads, There is no more Scrabble for parking spaces in public car parks. Generator noise at night has ceased in the neighborhood. People now sleep without light calmly in their homes. The beauty of it is that the ers and non ers BAT are enjoying these developments equally. We are in it together. 1 Like |
