My Response

1. I am a Software developer.
2. A server BECAUSE I manage our servers, some of which is used for web-Hosting
3. I am a Solar installer BUT mostly because I am a hobbyist, (have above basic technical experience on electronics) who also uses Solar at scale hence experienced in it.
4. I have a garden at home hence got few experience in that also.
5. I invest some of my money hence equally got some experience in that field (investment banking) also.

Overall, I am officially a full time developer and Server by profession. I just happen to be the sort who loves knowing and understanding what's happening behind the scenes.

You are not alone, I am like You+. I guess many will be like that too, inquisitive people that likes learning and building things. They are called The Builders. If I list mine you go fear.

Lagos used to be serene up till the mid 90s' till everything changed.. it started with Balogun market, then Computer Village, Trade Fair and now all across the State.

Rwanda, Uganda, Zimbabwe and many other African countries now have clean and well planned cities.. Lagos too would have been in that league but for influx of illegal migrants and economic refugees who have no business being in the State.

You are correct in your observation but talk only about Nigeria because North and East Africans are trying.

How do you innovate when there is no stable basic amenities/infrastructure, this situation is also seen with our Engineers, Doctors and all most all our professionals. All our PhD holders what patent have they achieved globally.

Other African countries in North, East are rapidly innovating things, the problem is just Nigeria.

Kenyans are innovating more than Nigeria because they have better infrastructure than us. In Nigeria everyone is looking for quick money to solve basic amenities challenges or sustain the business. No single government .

Innovative ideas will not last in a harsh business environment like Nigeria. Even Facebook won’t survive if Mark Zuckerberg was in Nigerian.

Don't you think if all the Nigerian youths can speak with one voice and be as active as the VDM,they can acrually take back the country and send all these greedy old politicians to their perpetual retirement?
