Is the biometric sticker important?
Also if sending via courier(DHL), does DHL have to fill the 3rd page (indirect submission/collection) of the consent form?

They don't take your port during biometrics. Your port is only taken when you have been issued a visa and your port is requested.

You will find this quite discomforting, as you would have already gone through immigration you might be able to get a hotel, but practically speaking you might not get value for the hotel but better than trying to sit around for 16 hours

16 hours is a long layover with an infant. Get a flight with a shorter layover time like 4 or 5 hours maximum

For a mama traveling alone with an Infant, and has 16hours layover in Toronto before flying to her final destination, will you suggest I get an hotel near the Airport or Stay inside the Airport for the whole 16hours!.
Or is there any other option available.

You have two options
1. You can courier your port to the primary's applicants location so he can send both together to the nearest VFS office. Some did it this way.

2. The primary applicant can send email to his VO and notify them of the difference in location regarding port submission. Usually within few days his VO will send another PPR mail so that his partner can send her port to her nearest VFS location separately. Many has done it this way it worked perfectly too.

Pls I need clarification in regards to sending our ports to VAC. My spouse and I live in different countries, can we send our ports differently to the nearest VAC close to our locations or we have to submit it together to the same VAC? He is the primary applicant.

You will be called soon.. Some people who did medicals with have not been called till now and some were called first before others. It depends on availability of space in the locations u chose.
