My son just ed through that same road 10 minutes before that tragedy struck. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. I have been in a state of shock and pains since I saw this news. It's actually mixed feelings for me. But in all I feel so sad at this great loss of lives. People going for their daily hustles, men, women and possibly children in those kekes. Oh Lord!! 😭😭😭

People really misunderstand Obi and just detest his persona because of envy and because he is not your average brash Nigerian politician. I ran into someone that went to the same secondary school with him. The man is a die hard PDP person, but he told me that obi is a very good man. He said nobody should ever think Obi is pretending. He said Obi had always been like this. He was never a noise maker and always helped his fellow students. He also said that obi used to stand up for the junior students whom other senior students like him then used to bully. He was a very philanthropic person and never liked injustice. If the man was an LP person, I would have said why not. He is ing him. But this person that said all these to me also said that he would tell the truth no matter what different political parties they belong to. Obi is a good person.

Even after APC is in power, Obi's name is still on their lips every day. The man is just going about his businesses, cruising, loving Nigerian nurses πŸ˜‚ and yet even people that he doesn't know are crying at the mention of his name. This man is indeed a great man, take it or leave it. We should tell ourselves the truth. A single person is an opposition that everyone in government is attacking. That was how onanuga referred to Adeshina of AFDB as talking like Obi because the man said the truth πŸ˜‚. May God continue to bless and protect Obi. Meanwhile, APC, listen carefully, defections is not an achievement. Anybody can belong anywhere. Bwala was once in PDP. Nigerian politics and politicians are bereft of ideologies. When we know this truth, we will not be fighting ourselves over politicians wey no send us. You may like a politician, but You don't need to hate your fellow human being because of politics or politicians

If you live in Abuja, come to our radio station with the evidence of payment and the proof that the person is working in that organisation, we will recover your money for you by God's grace.
We just recovered through me by God's grace 650k from an NSCDC staff who scammed a guy. She collected that money from him and of course there was no job. We worked with fcc and the rest was history.

You people were scammed.
You all should stop paying money for jobs. Please stop

If Obi hadn't gone, they would not have even known pope died talk more of visiting the Vatican. These people sef grin grin. We didn't even hear the senate reaching out to the people of Benue or plateau. Not even a word of commiseration, not even 1 minute silence, in the chambers, but they want to go and commiserate with a pope that never knew them when he was alive. They want pope to recognise them from Nigeria when him don die? Who do Nigeria like this?
These guys are clueless o.
But I know it's political.
Commiserate with the catholics on the death of pope and have real bishops( not those fake ones) endorsing the tinubu in 2027. That is their thinking 🀣🀣

This is really heartbreaking 😭. How can a few people in the bush hold Nigerians to ransom like this? Killing our people in every part of the country. And not even one of them has been caught and thought a lesson. Are they ghosts?

The only reason why the governor and Dave himself were running helter skelter to ensure that the bridge is reopened was because the massive traffic jam affected the elites in Lagos. So hundreds of calls were hitting their mobile phones from these elites, forcing them to order the reopening with immediate effect.

If that bridge was at Okokomiko or Ikorodu or Yaba, believe me, they'll close it for 2 years and nothing would happen.

Amid rumors of a plan to punish the nursing school students seen in a viral video rejecting Senator Remi Tinubu with the "Na Your Mama Be This" song during her visit, Nigerians have resurfaced an old video of Peter Obi visiting the same nursing school in Agbor. The video is being used to compare the students' reactions to both visits.

In the resurfaced clip, Obi is warmly welcomed, with students eagerly surrounding him, struggling to shake his hand, and many pulling out their phones to take selfies with the Labour Party's presidential candidate.

The video has since gone viral, sparking widespread reactions and discussions across social media platforms, particularly on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

Pocket your anarchy.

The students didn't insult the woman. In fact, their chants were not to the woman but to the man singing the stupid song.

The part where the man said, "We no get another one", justifies the students' response. Normally, the woman, just like every other woman, is counted among our mothers. But claiming that we don't have any other mother apart from that woman is a fat lie and a big insult to us. In fact, as the school management is being queried, the mothers of all those students should query the man that sang that song.

The right way to respond to what the students did is to post the woman's achievement at the event. Convince the public that that song wasn't the only thing that happened at that event. Show the public the good things the woman did at the event.

Don't blame the song for being the only thing trending about the event when you are not willing to publicise the things the woman achieved at the event.

The students did not even insult the man singing the song. If the man claims that the woman is his mother, is it insulting for the students to affirm that she is his mother? Or, Are you saying that she is not the man's mother? Are you saying that it is wrong for the students to recognise her as his mother?

So, apart from Remi Tinubu, you don't have another mother?
this your analysis is top notch πŸ™

Even if he had ever won the elections as a governor, he would have still defected.
Just thinking πŸ€” if what they will use to settle him now. Trust Nigerian politicians at your own peril. The only time they abuse a government in power is when they are not benefitting from it.

And the biggest lie they tell when they defect, is that it is their people that advised them to defect for the good of the people, so they had to comply. God forbid I follow politicians and political parties blindly to a point of making enemies with people of other tribes and religions like most people do on nairaland and other platforms

What category do you place a father who tells his children that he is not attached to them. The same father denies their children going to school or the basic things of life whenever he has a fallout with their mother?.

You see that Asake's story, people should ask him what he went through with his father.
Again how do you think children will relate to their father if they had to find out from someone else that their father impregnated another woman and has children even without their knowledge?. There are things children see and experience that make them get closer to their mothers. At times it's out of pity especially if their mothers are treated badly by their fathers.

But again, to balance it, I have seen my friends children that are closer to their fathers. Because he decided to pay more attention to them, do school runs, homeworks and engage them in useful activities.

You see, children will definitely tilt towards who shows them more love and affection. It doesn't have any thing to do with their mothers manipulating them. They see things and they discuss amongst themselves or with their friends in school and in their neighborhood

While ing this, I also challenge Reno Omokri to take lie detector test over his many false claims. It's not just enough to accuse other people.

For example, in order to whitewash the Tinubu istration, Reno Omokri lied against the Obasanjo istration, saying that its air safety profile was so poor that it was averaging 5 fatal plane crashes a year.

In order to sound believable, Omokri added his usual "fact-check me" and promised $10,000 to whoever could fault this claim. I faulted him via this video and asked him to pay me the money...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HbuoKWqilo?si=eAq_Y4FDJFNKDE17

Instead of fulfilling his promise, Omokri ignored me and deleted the post just as he is accusing Natasha of doing.

Now, I insist that he must pay me as he himself was paid. I ask everyone who values justice to pleaseπŸ™ me on this. Omokri shouldn't be getting away with the same things he accuses others of just because he is privileged to be famous with the ability to provide believable false information in a country where few are ready to challenge them.
tag him on X ( Twitter). He must pay you that money

What has steadily power supply got to do with Ramadan. Is it when there is constant power that the prayers and fasting will get to God faster?
What sort of minister of power is this?
So after Ramadan we will return to status quo of no power supply or darkness promax.

So Ramadan alone will make government to ensure there's constant electricity supply?. When people outside this country insult us, we will say they are not patriotic. But we are still battling with how state governors are declaring weeks of holidays for fasting and this one is talking about only guaranteeing powered supply during Ramadan
