Hi everyone, with the situation in Nigeria I know we are all looking for ways to give our kids another port. I made a video talking about the process of giving birth in Canada, how i found the clinic I made use of and a bit of the birth process. Please watch, comment, subscribe and share any you might have. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=294NbuLUTvM |

If your baby sleeps the flight would be a good one. My spouse and I are fully vaccinated so the only time we had to show proof was at Nigerian airport and when ing for ArriveCAN crespo67: 1 Like |

you don’t need transit visa if you’re only stopping in Heathrow

Landing gist Abuja- Heathrow- Toronto - Ottawa Left with BA on the 17th April, family of 3. Check in went smoothly- we had 5 check in bags, 2 hand luggage, 1 diaper bag and a travel system stroller combo. My advice it’s best to check in every single bag that you can , BA will check in your hand luggage for free so it’s something to consider ♀️. Abuja-Heathrow leg was smooth, we left about 20-30mins late but still left us with enough time to meet the connecting flight to Toronto. The food was ‘meh’ in my opinion but I’ll advise that you take the mail English breakfast option because the other meal option looked like to me. Got to Heathrow and after about an hour wait we boarded to Toronto (this flight felt super long to me) but 7 hours after we entered our new country . Went to immigration where we had to first do the self service port scanning for declaration of items- cash value you’re coming in with, if you had meat, milk, fish and the likes, the machine gives you a slip. I had milk on me but it’s for my baby so I didn’t declare it. Took the slip to the first leg immigration where we handed over our COPR and port for stamping and filling address where we want our PR card shipped to. Then we were told “welcome to Canada” We were sent to border control to fill a form regarding the amount we brought in, but it was nothing serious. Went to check in for our connecting flight to Ottawa with Westjet, the flight was delayed due to various reasons but we eventually landed Ottawa and got picked up by family. Omo the cold is real, forget all the talk about spring weather. Buy better jacket when you’re coming. P.s Travelled with an infant (9months) so when booking we got a bassinet seat, so she could be comfortable. I was able to carry water on all legs of the trip cause of making the baby’s food (the water was tested at Toronto) We booked directly with BA at Transcorp cause we were particular about getting the bassinet seat. not true, I’m actually in the same boat but my own mail came in yesterday (Friday). The mail came directly from Accra Hugh commission. Called vfs Ghana and they told me to send the port photograph directly to the high commission since they were the ones who requested for it. Sent it yesterday evening. tshtsh: |

Hello, 1. If you are going as a PR/ Student you don’t need a return ticket, one way is fine 2. PTA can only be sold with a return ticket (except if you are student with scholarship, but this isn’t sold very often) 3. For flight, people say Ethiopian airline is moderately priced. 4. I’m team book straight on the airline’s website but you can also reach out to an agent and compare prices. Jeffi7: 4 Likes |

I'm back o, for those people that used ICES for evaluation did you get any email indicating that your evaluation was done and will/has been dispatched?. I checked my profile today and I saw that my evaluation has been complete but I'm yet to get an email or anything about delivery. 1 Like |

The job was with an NGO This was the job description, I asked on here and I was advised that it's most likely NOC 1123. What do you think ? joo2018: |

Yes I looked into it, but I'm just a bit worried about the employment requirement and I don't have a degree in public relations. beeodun: |

Yes, it was actually a paid volunteer position for about 6 months. I want to claim experience for it since I was paid but I feel like graduate intern might be the best way to word the job title (I also think I was given an internship certificate would need to go search for it). joo2018: |
