Good evening
You shouldn't judge someone or country based on their relationship with others. A person or country may have a different relationship with someone than yourself.
You should rather judge people or countries based on their relationship with YOU. How they deal with others is as a result of historical relationships running into hundreds or thousands of years.
Someone or country may be kind to others (based on historical relationship) but hate you. Some other person or country may love you but hate to others. In this case, we know that Russia historically love black people.
By the way, one of the biggest mistake we keep making on the African continent (especially by educated Africans) is assuming that something (especially by white people) is universal. But that's a devastating idea sold us by white people to continue to exploit us.
Everything is based on interest. If you do not understand that your interest comes first, you'll, for example, end up writing and winning awards in a foreign language to the detriment of your own language, which is, of course, why Chinua Achebe and Wole Soyinka ended up working against African languages. Without realizing it!! Because they didn't understand that their interest (language) comes first no matter how useful the English language!!
Sorry for this epistle but I always try to get someone to be able to conceptualize something. If you need even more details, go to www.africason.com and read the article that says: how Britain and the CIA fooled Wole Soyinka and Chinua Achebe to destroy African languages in literature. Read it and you'll understand why not protecting your interest is detrimental to you and even your culture.
I don't want to comment on the africason issue. The actions of the West in Africa is well documented, known and we don't need any nobel to say it more.
recently agreed on their genocide in Namibia, some countries are owning up to past issues.
The African languages issues are something else, rich but to what gains? A Yoruba book will not sell in SS, but yes, the culture can be expressed.

I agree with you on the relevant part of your comment. My comment was emphasis on fallacy of generalisation by the OP.
I cannot judge a group of people, not even a tribe by the person's interaction with me OUTSIDE the person's own country or village.
You want to judge or compare a group of people, live with different of the group, visit the different places, then you will have a good sense of fair comparison.

Better than whites who are mostly obese from adulthood. Don't let Hollywood decieve you
Obesity is a disease condition by the way, African-American women are most obese people in the US which is lack of indiscipline in choice of foods, quality and quantity.
Pregnancy isn't a disease, with discipline in choice/quality and quantity of foods, African women can do better.

G00DHardDick:
I saw this beautiful thread on frontpage about a guy's travel to Russia and his teaching experience, so I decided to share my experience with a Russian Lady.
I met this Russian lady in Dubai late 2019 and we became close friends, this lady speaks English but not perfectly well (you can easily tell from her Russian accent that she's still trying to learn English). But she was beautiful and awesome. I noticed that Russians loves blacks alot, esp if you're Africa. I used to think Russians are extremely racist far more than the USA, but I was shocked to find out all that was a lie. Russians are the most nicest people on earth, well mannered, cultured and highly respectful.
While it may be true that there might be low racisms in Russia, you won't even notice or experience it because these guys are all nice and friendly.
I also noticed the moment you tell a Russian you're from Africa, they become extremely excited and interested in knowing more about you and Africa, (you must be ready to answer questions, because they love asking questions). They Love learning and educating themselves, esp on things they don't know. I guess this is why they're so smart. However, I don't know about other Russians but this lady made me think so.
NOW BACK TO MY STORY WITH THIS RUSSIAN LADY
Please before I proceed, Russians love using Sophisticated phones and the latest devices. I also think this is why they're highly intelligent, smart and advanced too. You'll find out how I knew about this shortly. Just keep reading..
Now on that fateful day in the airport in Dubai, this Russian lady walked up to me and simply said "hello! (With a half smile on her face)
As in, I was shock and stunned at the same time. Na me this oyinbo person dey talk to? I mumble, one can tell it was obviously my first time meeting a white lady, let alone having one approached me. I also noticed if they found you attractive or like you they'll approach you. (As in, it is not like in our country where women will wish for ground to open and swallow them if they ever make a move on you.)
Hello" she said again because I didn't reply her first greetings, hello" I replied. From there this lady starting talking. I was confused, I noticed she talked very fast but I couldn't understand one single thing she said. (The Russian accent was still there). I then responded "I'm sorry, but I don't understand a thing you just said" she was shocked, she paused some seconds, looked at me and started her speech all over again. This time around she was slower than before.
While I listen attentively, I figured out she was actually telling me her name, introduced herself and asked for my name, my nationality and if I came to Dubai to buy goods or business purpose. Russians speaks Russian language! Except when they learn English then they can speak in English, although not all but i discovered that these Russians are eager and love to learn English language with great ion.So if you're Good in English and wishes to teach English, I'll advise you to find your way to Russia. Forget Media propagandas about war in Russian and racism. Don't believe everything you see on Media!
This lady learnt English because she was a business lady (she learnt it because of her constant travels to Dubai and other non Russian speaking countries) she goes to these countries to purchase goods and cargo them back to Russia. Now you you can tell why she needed to learn English, right? She deals With non Russians on her business trip so learning English for her was very necessary for easy communication.
She asked my purpose of visiting Dubai and I told her "for work purpose". She seem interested all the more and enquired to know the kind of work. We talked at length until she started asking about my family, relatives, siblings etc. What a sweet Angel she is!
She then offered me to come over to Russia and probably meet her Dad and Mom. Omo na so I shock o. Me wey just land for Dubai, I never even go the company wey I wan work for, a Russian is already inviting me over to her country. I didn't give it a second thought at all I accepted the offer at once (who know like better thing?).
I also noticed that this Russian lady has lots of connection in that airport. As in, she's a business lady and she do come there to purchase goods from time to time through cargo, so what do you expect? Sometimes they even send the goods to her directly to Russia while she's in another country purchasing goods. She has that kind of connections!
LET'S CONTINUE,
While I accepted her offer to come over to Russia, she started making preparations for my arrival. First while in Dubai I was to go back to Nigeria and prepare for my Russian trip. Guess what?
This Russian lady went and bought bags of clothes, I don't mean anyhow clothes, she went shopping there in Dubai and bought very expensive female clothes (about 5 bags), she requested I should give them to my mom, she also bought apple laptops and wrist watches, and then iphone 11 pro max (that was the latest iphone then in late 2019). And that was the phone and laptop she was using. Now you see why I said these Russians love using Sophisticated phones and devices? I never asked her to buy any of these!
I also noticed she has a younger brother whose name was Vladimir. As in, Vladimir! I thought it was Putin! You know na! Lol
I also noticed that majority of Russians loves president Putin alot (their president). I equally noticed her younger brother uses the same iphone 11 pro max, I knew this because whenever he video calls me on WhatsApp, it was usually through his laptop webcam and dude always play games on his iphone 11 (I saw it through the video call). The guy seems to love blacks even more than his sister, probably because he wants to learn English.
Now on their dad's part, the man has a restaurant and he's even more friendlier than I thought. They can't speak English. Only the lady can! The father was just similing all through the video call because he knew I won't understand whatever he says. Sometimes the lady interprets if her father wishes to say anything.
So I came back to Nigeria with the items she bought, and we do make video calls 24/7. She speaks with my mom and siblings too. But her English was and his difficult for them to understand. I find out that these Russians have a thing for black guys, although not all but some. Maybe it because of our English, I can't tell exactly!
In early 2020, coronavirus came and started our whole plans, and I was stucked in Nigeria. Even though my Visa and other documents were already getting prepared, I couldn't proceed further because of the travel restrictions all over the world as a result of the COVID 19. It was so terrible! But we still speak on video calls 24 7 even till now.
Permit me to say this, Russians are one of the most nicest people on earth. They're so sweet, welcoming and friendly. The only way they'll dislike you as a Nigerian is when you try to scam them online (yahoo yahoo) and they discover you're a Nigerian,. whereby giving yourself and Nigeria a bad impression.
In summary, Russians in particular are great and lovely people. If you have an opportunity to make friends with one, please do! If you're also good and fluent in English language and wishes to teach English, I'll advise you to find your way to Russia.
Nice story and great experience.
But using a family of about 5 people to judge a race, a region, that is as big as half of the whole Africa continent though its population is below Nigeria's to judge and make comparison claims is overblown.
I understand your appreciation and excitement, but c'mon, this is overblown really.
I have never been to Russia, but I've met a couple of them in and a lot of Ukrainians who are just as Russians in culture (let's say like Yorubas and people of Benin Republic), yes, they're more open minded than typical Germans I know and live with, but you can't compare people when they are 'isolated' abroad to when they are at their home country. I am in a group of 24 people from 12 countries, across each continent.
They seem to be all nice, then the question would be if I am to judge their citizens with my relations with them, I could their country people to be all the best!
PS: How is Dubai? It was my humble home for 1 year

Picture two and three show edema. Was the pregnancy normal? The last picture shows weight gain from stuffing herself during pregnancy. If she hits a gym, she won’t snap back, but she’ll look a thousand times better. I will never understand why African women let themselves go after childbirth.
It's as if only African women get pregnant and experience these dramatic changes particularly in excessive fattening/weight gain except for the edema and varicose vein which is common but can be well managed.
Otherwise, this blowing out of proportion and not returning to active lifestyle after birth is indiscipline and has become many African women's trademark everywhere. Quite uncommon amongst non-Africans.

Hello everyone, Please i have questions my girlfriend is german we want apply for marriage in . And the marriage registry asked her to tell me to send her my:
1, port copy
2, DOB certificate
3, Bachelorhood certificate
4, letter from me with signature and date that i agreed for her to apply the marriage for us.
My question is i asked my father get me the bachelorhood affidavit from high court and another affidavit from local government office. Which is all done in my hand now. Please is that all okay or I have to get another thing?
Second question which one is better to get married in country like South Africa then apply for Spouse visa or applying for marriage contract in is better? Thank you all.
Take the Bachelorhood affidavit to your local government council to change it to Bachelorhood Certificate if you haven't done that.
You did not tell us where you have residence, Nigeria or South Africa? If in South Africa, you can get married either in SA or in Nigeria BUT apply for reunification visa in SA (if you legally reside there).
Read the consulate embassy requirements on your own too and see what what's needed.
PS: if you live in Nigeria, stop asking your father to do this and that except Birth Certificate, na man you wan become now.
This is a wrong thread to post this BTW, find una thread.

Yes.
Don't be surprise. They imprison, intimidate and suppress nonorthodox Christian groups.
I cannot tell you more, unless you read about.
The record I gave was for Jehovah's Witnesses but the suppression and intimidation is across different Christian groups except for the Orthodox who will 'faithfully' pray for the Commanders/Generals going out to war to kill other Christians across the border.

A man with a big heart.
If by this 2023 , you still feels Russia is in Ukraine for War. Then something is wrong with you.
Russia is in Ukraine for world peace . It signifies the beginning of the liberation of the world from the shackles of Evil powers, spearheaded by Nato, Eu and the west.
Evil people who go about spending billions of dollars on Medical healthcare and research but still encourages mental disorderliness in the form of homosexuality.
Marck who lost his wife, house and car at the beginning of the 'liberation' to a missile strike and the other 4 Ukrainians I work with who fled their homes will say otherwise.
If you are offered a stay in Russia and the mad West and US, I may be able to guess your choices based on how much I think you might love true freedom and safety.
Let's talk about the young men, who has been imprisoned because they do not wish to bear arms for the sole purpose of killing their friends and even families across the border. Oh the 110 brothers and sisters too who are currently in jail and pretrial for practising their peace loving Christian faith.

Good morning, pls I want to apply for a German visa to study German language. I would appreciate any info on how to go about it n how the visa situation is here in Nigerian embassy is for now. Thanks in anticipation.
You need to prove 2 things:
1. It's not for immigration purpose
2. Why you don't want to study the language in Goethe Institut near you
3. What is/are your plan(s) after the language course?
Ponder on these to make a good argument about your visa application.
You however may need to wait for up to 1 year.

Don't say what you don't know or sure about.
The govt funds education with X amount of money, Y number of researchers and faculty , Z number of infrastructures and dy/dx number of students from across the globe.
1. What do you think was the number of students from Nigeria in 2018 and the current number of applicants in year end 2022?
2. What do you think is the student:faculty:infrastructure ratio change to maintain quality education?
3. Is Nigeria the only 3rd world country in need of international studies? (a classmate from Nepal waited for 16 months)
4. Why would of 80 million people fund global 3rd worlds education? In my class of about 24, we have only 1 citizen!
5. In the example of my department, an uncommon situation though, how can justify how they spend millions of Euros per year training foreign students?
While it can be frustrating, but let us be reasonable that countries abroad MUST control immigration.
If Nigeria provides free education and open it to all countries, will you be concerned about certain countries exceeding a quota, let's speak equity and equality.
Illegal migration and crime is another topic on its own, and we are not alone.

The German Consulate in Dubai wishes to inform you, that your visa application has been decided upon.
You are requested to hand over your original port & a valid incoming health insurance * (valid for at least 180 days from the intended date of travel), in an envelope. Please note that the starting date of the visa will be as per the starting date of the insurance. So do make sure that your insurance starts from the date when you wish to travel to .
For example the following companies meet the requirements of providing an incoming health insurance:
• Mawista: https://www.mawista.com/en/health-insurance-for-foreign-nationals-in-/stays-up-to-5-years/
• BDAE: https://www.bdae.com/en/health-insurance
• Care Concept: http://www.care-concept.de/expatriates_eng.php?navilang=eng
Furthermore please note that a regular travel health insurance is insufficient and only incoming travel health insurances are accepted. According to the Consulate’s knowledge currently no insurance provider in the U.A.E is able to meet the requirements of an incoming travel health insurance.
You may however alternatively provide a confirmation from an insurance company, in case you have enrolled into German public or German private health insurance. In this case please mention clearly on a separate paper as to from which date you wish the visa to begin.
The Consulate has a dedicated drop box (Sun-Thur 08.00 a.m. – 02.00 p.m) at the below mentioned address, where you can hand in the documents.
Please ensure to mention the following details clearly on the envelope with the documents:
• barcode number which was provided at the time of visa application
• full name
• telephone number
It shall further be highlighted that the security staff of the Consulate is not authorized to assist in any matters regarding the visa process or his finalization.
After 3 working days the port will be ready for collection from the Consulate’s collection counter (Sun-Thur 09.00 a.m. – 10.00 a.m). No separate notification will be given for the collection.
The port should be collected in person by the port holder. In case you’ll send someone to collect the port on your behalf, please note, that he / she must submit a signed authorization letter stating the same.

There's no much difference in whether it is public or private university at this moment. Most of them close their summer application January 15 (10 working days from now) and resumption is April 1. So ission might come at about the same period (February) whether private or not.
Also consider the fee range of 3000-7000 per semester for private unis.

Provided the ission letter is structured to allow you apply for a student visa, you're good to go.
Also, I noticed your name is somewhat similar to mine. What are you up to?
True.
Usually conditional ission implies that you will be fully itted IF AND ONLY IF you have fulfilled the condition.
For say, the condition is C1 German, and you're B1, the condition is not yet met but at the interview stage, you have completed B1 and enrolled or eligible for C1, it won't be a problem if your study is to resume in say 3 months time sufficient for the C1 completion under normal circumstances.

The embassy of in different countries has made the clear that you should not send any enquiry to them asking about the status of your application after interview UNTIL it exceeds a specified window which they usually tell you after interview depending on your type of visa.
The so called tracking is fostered by official agents like VFS in certain countries excluding Nigeria and this is because they are approved agents but still cannot provide any status.
What is visa status after interview? Possibly:
1. Pending
2. Incomplete documents (which an applicant usually know on day of interview or couple of days after the interview by email)
3. Decision (which you usually receive as email about 5 weeks after interview depending on number of applicants, could be shorter or longer). This is also erroneously known as approval email, denied visa applicants also receive this same email.
4. Approved/denied (usually when you are asked for health insurance and possible travel dates).
I still argue that it is debatable and unlikely that there is an official way to track your status, everything is a function of time. The response is always, your application is receiving the necessary attention and you will be informed of decision by email and what follows next.
Who has successfully tracked his appointment date here?
Who has successfully tracked his application status after interview here?
Except for general response of "wait, be patient, we are working on it, refrain from enquiry on the status of your application... "?
