I know that typically you would not need a visa if transiting through one schengen country but if it's 2 countries, you will need one. I don't know if that also holds for PR card holders. Since you are transiting through 2 Schengen countries, to be safe, I will advise that you quickly call your airline to ask them.

Please who knows someone that came in as a visitor and succefully got a job and workers visa while in Canada. Specifically a single person and not someone whose spouse is already in Canada.

So I booked British Airways flight for 30th of November. I had booked it since September, do the booking at MMIA so I paid in Naira at official rate.

Flight was for 11:45pm but I got to the airport around 4pm keeping with the advice given here to always arrive early.

First wahala was at the scanning machine at the entrance, they found my palm oil and said to take it out, that it won’t fly on BA, I didn’t argue I dropped it because I still had two more, which unfortunately ended up being trashed by BA just before departure (BA doesn’t allow frozen palm oil).

Agric people caught me this point and I had to dash them 2k, was hoping to escape it. After then I went weighed my luggage, had to shuffle some items between my carry-on and my checked in luggage before I was able to move ahead.

Showed the airline rep my port, enrollment letter ArriveCAN, enger locator form (mandatory for UK age), vaccination card and COVID test. He confirmed the documents and gave me my boarding and yellow card to fill.

From there I moved to immigration, they collected my yellow card here, I was instructed to write my final destination address at the back of the card, Baba asked for tip I told him “nothing Dey” and they let me go.

Boarded the plane to London, the food was alright and we landed heathrow around 4am and that’s when I came online and saw the ban update

At 11:45 am we boarded the connecting flight, food was also good. After about 8hrs we were in Toronto. Used the machine to scan my port and filled some information and a slip was printed out. Walked over to fort immigration check, the asked what food items I brought and I listed them asked if Toronto was my final stop, told him will be going to Saskatoon in January for school proper and I was directed to the place where I’d get my study permit.

Study permit didn’t take long, was only asked for the school I was attending and letter of ission which I submitted, it was checked and I was issued a study permit after which I was directed to public health for quarantine matters based on the new COVID update.

Anyways, I’m isolating now can’t wait for the result to be out so I can carry on with my life.

Please anyone going to Canada should be get their covid 19 vaccine card and scan the barcode attached to it via qr scanner to indicate you have been vaccinated at least twice. And also have your covid 19 test result 72 hours to ur departure in Nigeria. To avoid stories that touch oh. Very important.

Mine took almost a month before it reflected in the section that you showed that biometrics was completed. However the biometrics details on the upper right side of the had been updated with biometric details and the biometrics expiry date.

My port was delivered on Monday and I received the first email from them on Friday. It is taking some days for them to respond so don't be worried like I was. Lol

At port health they'll give you both the polio drops and the yellow fever vaccine because you need it for Australia application. The yellow card will bear details of both the polio an yellow fever vaccine.
In addition with what you're going with, go with a coloured printout of your port data page, you'll write your name and phone number on the printout. Try and go early like around 10 to 11am, so you can get the card immediately

Thank you. I have made the payment online and I got a remitta receipt but the service description reads Eyellow card. I hope it's the same for polio and it's not just for yellow fever.

Also, please what do I need to go with asides my port and the receipt.
