@Poster there two different thing in buying a car. First is to afford the purchase cost price and second is to afford the maintenance cost (as in keeping it on the road). We have not been able to establish with his wife yet. All s we investigated are not genuine, we ed all his family on his facebook friend list on this case via message already. We still await useful information or persuasion from his family for him to drop our car where we can pick it or better to come out and clarify himself if our allegation is false, we have done all what we could for now. Any useful contribution will be appreciated from you guys.

The case is not a deal gone wrong, we didn't have any deal with him on any car let alone this 4Runner is question. The story is what i had stated here, that's the gist. All the attempt to buy a car from my partner in the past was futile. The pics were taken from his facebook profile, BBM dp. He said he works in Abuja General Hospital which we had checked to be false. From all indications he made it all planned out, and seized the opportunity when it was right for him.

fabienjoe: I don't think the attacks on the man and his story make sense. I'm not aware of anyone that is happy to risk N7m. His advice still stands for me: avoid the vehicle in question, at least until the said doctor turns up and proves him a liar. Even if we succeed in rubbishing his story, it's a considerable risk buying that car without a definite proof he is lying.

Thanks Fabienjoe for the vital input you made, the story may seem incredible but it is the truth. I await Dr Obafemi Richard Agbenla or his family to come up and challenge my statement. The investigation is on going, am not here to tarnish anybody's name. It is only a fool that will come to the platform like this and put up a lie to rubbish a personality, so think rationally when you contribute to a very sensitive case like this. I'm aware of the legal implications of my allegation if it is not the truth. Be careful with the deal you seal and especially on any SUV of the kind in question. This post is a guide you should appreciate on getting a car of this kind because the color can even be changed, and u can help us in your little way if you have any lead on this matter. This man call Dr Obafemi Richard Agbenla is a wicked soul, he has no conscience. Please guys this is a serious case, i only solicit for useful contributions, ideals, information on how to track down this criminal. This kind of people should not thrive in our society, it is not a crime to give little trust to people around us. The fact is that he can only run but can not hide, and he can never run forever. The name of the consignee on the custom papers and the bill of lading is Olafatiah Motors with the address 4 Oyerokun Street, Barracks Bus Stop, Western Avenue, Surulere.

Hotel is just 4-5k and you had to leave him with a security man; doing what , exactly?? .... security man complained his legs were paining him and he had to inject him...gbuhahahaha...OP u re very foolish for this stupid news u are feeding us.

It is foolishness on my partner part i accept, the story is not a lie. Buyer should just beware.......don't buy it when you come across it, us immediately. Investigation and tracking down of the man is in place..........Note Buyer is a loser if bought a stolen vehicle.

My people it is a long story, this doctor was known to my partner like 3 years back. They both had unsealed transactions in the past, he came to our office in Surulere this year January with a lady and son introduced as his wife and son that just came back from Canada. He brought a 2004 CRV that he wanted to sell it and eventually took it away when he could not sell fast. Since then has been coming to our office once in a while to say hello.

On Friday 27th this month he came with the story that he father just died and he came to Lagos unprepared that he was stranded. He begged my partner to stay with the security in the office overnight so he can get the money he was expecting from someone the next day (Saturday 28th), that he has no money to logged in hotel. My partner simply allowed him to stay put base on little acquaintance they had already, and his status as a Medical Doctor.

My partner and i left the office leaving him with the security man. Later on the security said he complained that he has pains on his left leg to d doctor, that he did not know what to use again after all what he had already used proved abortive which was known to us as well. The doctor suggested to give him injection to relief him of the pains, not knowing to the security man that it was a sleeping injection dose. All just fell in place for the doctor to carry out his criminal act. The security slept off and woke up late in morning to realize the 4runner was no where to be found with the doctor. Some people who live in the street testified that he left around 4am shouting they should open the street gate that he had and emergency to attend to, his patient is dying. They eventually let him go on the that he was one of my partner's acquaintances.
